“There’s always a risk eating at a new restaurant when they say they’re gluten-free. But being that they have an open kitchen and you can see how they’re preparing food and they care that the staff takes to make sure they’re changing gloves and wiping down surfaces it definitely made me feel comfortable eating here Needing to be gluten-free due to celiac. I would highly recommend this place as you can actually eat the fries! I have eaten here multiple times now and have never gotten sick. Definitely a place I will continue to return to.”

“*not pictured maple bacon wrapped shrimp. We had great service. Our waiter was very attentive to our table. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. My kid gave the steak burger a 14/10. Ribs were tender and bbq sauce was perfect tangy sweet ratio. Husband's NY was a solid med-rare. Sides were excellent as well. Our bill wasn't terribly expensive considering we got 3 entrées, 2 apps, and 3 beverages.”

“Great experience at The Drake. We were able to get in fairly easily for dinner Sunday night but the restaurant was packed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather and people watching. Kale salad, fried chicken, and fish of the day were all good. Service was good and attentive. Kitchen was a bit backed up but we weren’t in a hurry!”

From Wagyu to King Crab and Foie Gras to Uni this was the most gastronomical experience you could ever hope to have in Bend, Oregon. They take you on the most adventurous food journey of your life here and it changes seasonally! Anytime you come here, it will be a night to remember.”

“What an amazing place! We were off the beaten path and saw this beautiful place. We had delicious wine at the wine bar and enjoyed the charming atmosphere. We will definitely be back for dinner some time. There was a line around the corner at 4:30!”

“Seems to be a common theme - premium prices for average (at best food) locally. We had the Mac & cheese, shrimp & grits, and a cheese burger for mains. Apps included kimchi fries and fried Okra. Both apps were OK, as was the burger and the wife’s Mac & cheese. Just OK. My shrimp and grits would have been good had the shrimp not been undercooked to the point I brought them home to reheat. Nothing was bad, just no better than OK. Beer was good as was the service!”

“We came here for our anniversary and had an excellent experience. The food, atmosphere, and service were all great. We were informed that the meals were family style and the waitress recommended sharing dishes, which we agreed with and didn't regret. We started with a cocktail (my wife ordered the ghost rider and I the rawhide), then we shared the warm olives and bone marrow. For the main course, we got the marbled rib eye, the endive beet salad, baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts. We topped everything off with a huckleberry shake for dessert. Very stuffed but happy by the end.”

“My friends and I come here after work for lunch sometimes and it always hits the spot. Perfect for a rainy day and a good substitute for soup, in my opinion. The crab ragoons are hands down the best I’ve ever had so don’t sleep on those. Super friendly and eclectic staff. I’ve read a few of the reviews that say the dumplings are bland so to that I say, that’s what the sauces are for and they’re delicious! :)”
