“Hands down this place is amazing. I have put two people onto their amazing meatball subs. No lie they're too good to share, and so delicious you can't just eat half. Best meatball sub I have ever had in my life! Two times I've been back and they taste just as amazing as the first time!! I've always wanted to try a good meatball sub. I've tasted a few places and honestly it was never something that made me think I'll be back for that. But this place I come specially for these meatball subs. After trying everything else make sure to take on the meatball sub!! Best you'll ever have!!”

“It was a busy night but they made room for us at the bar. Food was very delicious. People were so friendly. The owner introduced himself to us and since we were from Louisiana and it was our first time there, he treated us to a slice of his famous banana cream pie. We had the stew and flank steak. The stew meat was so tender and the flavor of the marinated flank steak was delicious.”

“The patio is covered and very warm even on the cold rainy day. Beautiful setting. Friendly knowledgeable, attentive service. Excellent well crafted cocktails. Wine list is more global than local. The dishes are meant to be shared. Everything was well made with good flavor. There are a lot of creativity and a theme of gooey pillowy texture. The pork chop was a highlight for us. Save room for dessert.”

“I was staying at the citizen a few weeks ago and ended up eating at the Grange. I must say the food was outstanding for a hotel bar / restaurant. The duck tarrine was one of the best I’ve had in the states. Although the bread was a bit too hard and too greasy for my likes. I like it crunchy but soft enough in the middle. The squash tempura was so good. And it came with a furikake aioli which was divine. I still think about it! The crab brioche were also super good but a little bit too much brioche for a small bite / appetiser. I had a glass of the carneros which was easy and entertaining enough. Service was very good. I thought the space was a bit too open and it was hard to socialise/ interact with others. Which I often seek at a hotel bar / restaurant.”

“Very good and unique pizzas. Free bread sticks if you eat in. Staff was super friendly and fast service. Only reason for the 4 star was that we requested no tomatoes or bell peppers and the pizzas came with both so we had to pick them off. It was not busy only 3 tables with people. Good little place.”
