“Wow... one of the best meals ever! I had the chicken kabob platter and my date had the zizis favorite chicken wrap. We shared baklava for desert. The servings were huge and delicious. Lip smacking! The server was friendly, warm, attentive and gracious. We sat outside on a gorgeous day.”

“A great Scottish pub with a ton of authentic food options and a quaint dining room with a patio out back. The Sheppard's pie was amazing and almost every table had it. I did a burger which was extremely dry but the blue cheese helped. They have 50+ scotches on the menu but of the 5 we asked for they didn't have a single one. Every Friday is unlimited fish and chips and I will do that next”

“This is a nice little spot in west loop, the food was good and the service was outstanding. The highlight for me was the wine, they have a great South American selection of wines and the Pet Nats are specially outstanding. We had a reservation at 7:30 but where not seated until 8:00 which makes sense since it was very busy specially on a Tuesday night and we had a large group so that’s completely understandable. The food was good however I personally feel that it was a little under seasoned to my taste. Other then that great experience.”

Russian Tea Room offerers full lunches and dinner too. Opt for the Tea Platters of Finger Sandwiches with sweet baked treats and Scones. A few, I felt needed more fillings. I'll attest to their Borscht being the best I've eaten of the hundereds of food reviews I have made. Wishing I had more time to get back for dinner. The classical music is soothing and their staff is friendly. The cozy booths and interiors are reminiscent of traditional tea rooms. This Restaurant is a must! The many nationalities partaking for a full lunch indicates an appreciative authentic experience.”
