“Phenomenal local pizza joint in a great neighborhood strip. Your usual options as well as unique specialty pizzas. They have both cauliflower and zucchini gluten free crust options. I tried The Rabbit which was a great vegetarian specialty with eggplant and artichokes. Bar and regular table height options for small to medium size groups as well as a small patio if the day is nice.”

“This place is amazing if you like to eat just pure oil!! Put my burgers on the bottom of the bag and stacked the fries on top. It wouldn’t have been so bad if they would have just let the fries dry off from being in the fryer and went back to see if I can get my missing hot dog and they were completely ignorant.”

“I didn't expect to give 5 stars for a burger but I give credit where it's due and they have a dang good burger. 1/2lb Bacon cheeseburger with a jalapeño sourdough bun! Not best in texas kind of thing but top 5 in lubbock possibly! We enjoyed the meal and would have given full 5 stars for service except after being seated noone spoke to us for 10-15 mins untill a waitress from a whole different section saw out table empty so she asked what we would like, she went for our drinks and the waitress for our section finally approached. Our new waitress came back with drinks and told her I got this one! Right on we had great service the rest of the night! Food was quick and the kids burger was just as good as mine!”

“We are on the search for a really good hamburger since our sold standby closed down. My husband and I agreed this is a pretty good place to grab a burger. The onion rings were also very yummy. The service was excellent. The young man that took our order was so nice and friendly. Then the young girl that refilled our drinks was just as nice. It was an all around great experience. The price was not bad either. Three of us ate for $29. We will be back next time we are on that side of town.”

“My experience was more humorous than enjoyable…. This was my first time there. My husband took us for dinner at 6:50 on a Friday. First thing was that I had to get huge Xs on my hand to eat dinner. I’m 27… That’s fine, I understand they have to protect their establishment. I just didn’t anticipate needing my ID for dinner. Next we ordered our dinner. But when we went to sit down, there were no seats. We had to go back up to ask for our meal to-go. However, when I waited in line a gentleman ask me if it was my 21st birthday and why I didn’t look like I was having fun… 🤣 The food was fine. This is just a college bar. Not a place for a work meal or family dinner. The buildings setup is not practical. They have long picnic tables where many parties of 2 sit at. And in the very back, bar like seating with counter space about 8” long.”

“We took our son here for his 15th birthday. If requested they will acknowledge your birthday. Our waiter forgot so we don’t know they do. Make sure to remind them. I ordered the Double Nickel salad. It was tart, but if you like sweet tasting salad it was good. We order crab stuffed mushrooms and they were phenomenal. Lots of yummy sauce to enjoy. We ordered the Bananas Foster. They lit it at the table. It was fun to watch and delicious. The establishment definitely makes you feel like you need to dress up and act “proper”. However, I did see people in shorts and casual wear. The hey only enforce the “no hat” policy. Wear your Sunday best! The prices were through the roof so it’s definitely a special occasion experience for the working class.”
