“We had a wonderful evening family dinner of 5 two weeks ago. To be honest, one need to have some basic understanding of Thai cuisine to fully enjoy the food here. The chef has done a wonderful job here infusing the different kind of Thai dishes in all the dishes. Personally, I find very fun as it was like treasure hunting. Slowly tasting the various dishes and trying to find out the hidden treasure😄😄😄 If you were to ask me exactly the details, frankly, I can’t recall. All I could remember was that it was a very wonderful evening for the family in a relax surrounding, fine service and over good food. As for the pricing? It was stated clearly before booking. Willing seller willing buyer.”

“For 30 years I have had the pleasure of eating here at least twice a month. It is one of my favourite restaurants in Bangkok. Simple, never fails and the tastiest Ramen in the city. It is as authentic as one can get. Clean, fast and with standards that have carried over the decades. My dish’s of choice are Gilsa and Curry Ramen. Always hot, good and as good as that first bowl I had so many years ago.”

“Good place to eat. Prices are pretty good. This place is always a very good place to eat the food's always fast to the table once ordered even when the restaurant is full and the waiters are always very attentive to what you want the food is always fresh the only thing that I would say is that they used to offer a dessert Buffet but now they don't which is a little disappointing Update 2024 the place hasn't changed and it's still fantastic in one of my favorite eating places the only problem is is that they don't have the free dessert Buffet anymore”

“Think this place changed recently (?), used to be Shiko Udon Bar, I wouldn’t count too much on the old reviews. Now they seem to solely focus on chicken ramen and all I can say is… wow! The Tori Paltan is some of the best ramen I’ve had in Bangkok. The chicken is surprisingly cooked ”just enough”, just as delicate as your typical pork ramen. Definetively give this place a try.”

“Hongkong style duck, crispy pork and egg noodle. Price is on a higher end as one might expect from this kind of food in Bangkok. Egg noodle with wonton were quite good, chewy noodle texture, wonton were quite big and juicy. However, the soup is strange to me. It’s just a starchy water with a hint of seafood. Crispy pork was alright as well, soft meat and crispy skin. Roasted duck was just okay, the skin isn’t crispy which I assume it’s this restaurant’s style. Restaurant wasn’t really clean, service staffs can be confused at times.”
