“Cute place. GREAT service. And somehow, even better food. Strawberry watermelon jam with flaky warm biscuits was a perfect summer “jam.” ;) Southern Benedict - ham fresh,, FRIED GREEN TOMATO instead of English Muffin.. (do keep in mind the hot fresh fried green tomato will continue to cook the poached eggs, so eat them quickly if you like runny). And the potatoes! Get the small batch hot sauce. Hush pups and gravy is a great spin on biscuits and gray. COME HERE NOW. Courtney was our server and On Point and fun!”

“I decided to try this place after hearing great reviews and it truly is amazing. I got the chicken Mandi. It came on the largest plate I’ve ever had. It must have been about 20” around. Full of rice and sauces and an amazing piece of chicken. I also got the garlic naan which came out hot and perfectly toasted. What a gem. Can’t wait to come back.”

“Just got into town and we found that this place had a half hour from 5:00 to 7:00 so we decided to check it out and to our surprise it was pretty amazing. The happy hour menu has a ton of stuff on it and they're all at incredible prices. You got to make sure that you can see at the bar as that is where the happy hour is. People were lined up before the place even opened. So if you're trying to get in here for happy hour make sure you come a little early. Once you get to the bar, you get a huge loaf of complementary bread along with olive oil, balsamic and spices. There is a good selection of wines and mixed drinks for 6 to $7 and 3 beers for $3 a piece so it shouldn't be hard to find something to drink. The happy hour food menu has a couple pasta offerings along with some seafood offerings which are all around $7. You definitely can't beat this place. Their standard dinner menu has some amazing dishes to offer and the decor of this place is pretty cool. The staff was friendly and was able to help with accommodations along with recommending other places in town to see. Will be going back before our trip ends. Only downside of this whole place is the parking situation... You either valet or you're making a walk to get here.”

“A restaurant that lives up to its name in a sense that it has a courtyard with plenty of tables, but it's a fairweather proposition. Inside, the joint has a bit of an odd layout with a long bar and booths lining the wall. The menu is long and covers just about everything, service was fairly quickly and friendly. Prices have gone up in recent times, just like they did everywhere else.”

“Big parking lot and easy to find! I went here for a baby shower this past weekend and had an amazing time. Jamie and Katie took care of our group and they were some of the nicest servers I have ever met in my life. They were so kind and thoughtful and made the event extra special! I can't wait to return here for a meal sometime. A beautiful interior and super comfy seating.”

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Rood. The reservation process was simple, the food came out quickly, and it was DELICIOUS. The portions were also perfect, we left there feeling full but not too full. The octopus was delicious and so tender, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the steak meal I got was tender and so flavorful. One of the best meals I've had in Cleveland!”

“Solid downtown Italian restaurant. The food was great, the service could use a little work. Service was very friendly, but little things like delivering dinners but no silverware on table, long time or forgetting things that were asked for, etc. Restaurant is nice inside and there was some live entertainment when we were there as well. What matters most is the food, and everyone at my table enjoyed their dinners. Would definitely go back again.”
