“You taste the quality of the meat. The location is really nice, in the center of Pietrasanta, and the restaurant is also really cozy. We had a starter and tagliata and was simply perfect. The starter had cheese, ham, bruschetta and more and all the taste were balanced. The meat was also great. The staff super friendly, was really hot night and from inside we asked to love outside as soon as we saw an empty table and they had no issue with it. Recommended 100%”

“Best fish and sea food ever. This restaurant is famous from the fish preparation. And for me is the best fish restaurant in whole Italy, not only Tuskany. The only fish place I could compare with the Lorenzo is le Bernardin in NYC. Last 3 days we were 2 times driving 100km from Rapallo just to have dinner in Lorenzo Restaurant. Warm sea food salad is something stays in memory forever, same as Lorenzo fish soup( this season not available:) The preparation of all fish and sea food dishes is so gentle that you feel only the product every bite you eat is pleasure with nothing to interrupt beautifull flavour of the product. Bravo for the chef and his kitchen team for this gentle and different than elswere cooking such a great infredients. Great waiting staff, sommelier and owners arround the tables. Everything you need for great evening is in Lorenzo plus amazing wine list. But is not only perfect fish if you are meat lover tartare and fassona steak are also great choice. 👍”

“My husband and I had very high expectations. Reviews and pictures of the menu were really promising. Also a local friend who lives in Viareggio had recommended it. So despite the fact that the restaurant is quite pricy we decided to have a try. Unfortunately we got a bit disappointed. We started with the antipasti - antipasti misti dello chef e insalata calda di mare, which we enjoyed although the mussels in my plate didn't taste so fresh. The main disappointment derived from the pasta dishes. As first dish I ordered spaghetti alle arselle, since it is one of the most famous dishes of the restaurant) which is made with a sauce of small clams and my husband had "spaghetti frutti di mare e pomodori" sea food and fresh cherry tomatoes. Both sauces were too salty (especially mine with the little clams was terribly salty) and both tasted like some "heavy" fats had been used, some artificial condiment. Italian cuisine usually avoids those artificial "emulsionanti" and privileges the use of Extra vergin olive oil. Olive oil makes food healthier and, to my palate, more satisfying. We did not order a second dish.”

“I’ve been here already three times and each time was a treat. The food is delicious, the waiters are kind, the setting is interesting. They also have great natural wines. I loved sitting on the terrace, but also inside there was a vibey atmosphere. The menu was fairly priced. I would definitely like to return next time I’m in Lucca!”

“Inside of old town Luca, we found this very local pizzeria. It won top 50 pizza in Italy. The pizza was so fresh, we ordered anchovy pizza, so tasty. And last dolce is sponge cake dipped in the rum… so special!”
