“Amazing Hawaiian food! It is even tastier than the one I got in Hawaii. Loved BBQ guava pork - super tender pulled pork with pineapple and rice. Poke bowl was amazing as well - fresh tuna and avocado, simple but delicious. The dessert, coconut custard, was a unique and out of this world experience. Definitely recommend 💕💕💕!!!”

“This was probably my favorite meal of our trip to San Diego. The catch of the day fish sandwich was incredible! I forget what kind of fish it was, but it was a white fish and it was so fresh and juicy. It was lightly grilled for a subtle flavor and topped with fresh produce. The brioche bun was soft and didn't taste like it had been mass produced. My mouth waters as I type this this from our visit weeks ago. The salad was also nicely presented and very fresh. My only complaint is that I wanted to take a look at the dessert menu but the menu never came and we had to get going so never got to experience dessert.”

“My husband and I went to The Smoking Goat on a quick anniversary trip to San Diego. Upon arrival, the entire staff was immediately hospitable and prompt. The interior decor was warm and rustic, and a nice contrast to the brisk December air. We both decided to skip the appetizers in order to save room for dessert, which I’m so happy we did! I ordered the duck, and my husband ordered the steak frites. The food arrived quickly, as it was a Sunday evening. My duck was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the sauce was acidic enough to cut through the richness of the bird. It was very well executed, and served at the perfect temperature. My husband’s steak was decadently tender, and they definitely don’t skimp on the crispy fries. At the end of our meal, we shared the goat cheese cheesecake. It was rich and tangy, but fluffy in a way not typical to traditional cheesecake. A very intriguing approach to the dessert. All in all, the attention to detail, and quality of both service and gastronomy was top tier. Thank you for making our celebratory dinner both special and memorable!”

“Awesome place! Burgers are top notch and cooked to perfection. Burger, fries and beer combo is unbeatable at $10. Would not believe this is possible in La Jolla. Fries are great too - fresh, crispy, well seasoned with minimal oil. Leftover burgers taste as good as fresh ones. Would definitely recommend! 5 bears out of 5 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺”

“Got the lunch special and added garlic knots. Didn't care for the Margarita Pizza. The sauce taste like hunts tomato sauce out the can. Left a strange taste in my mouth. The garlic knots were fine, the cesar salad was flavorless. Also, over priced $48.52 for two lunch specials and a side of knots. Wouldn't go back”

“We had an excellent meal here. The Gyoza was great and we all adored our sushi rolls. They were affordable and very well-made. The ramen was delicious. Pretty standard but well-made and would definitely come back for it. The only thing that was a bit off was the timing of the meal. We wanted to enjoy our appetizers and drinks before getting the meal ending ramen. The icing was more like dim sum. The wait it was about a half hour and there are a lot of great places to go have a drink to pass the time. Or you can just wait on the patio.”

“The food is always great. Love the sauce options. Tried the pizza sticks one time. It was pretty much pizza toppings on breadsticks. Not great, but still good. I normally get it to go around lunch time and it's usually not busy and I'm out quick. One of my favorite places to eat”
