“I stopped by on Friday with a friend of mine. She wasn't really hungry so she asked me to order her Natural Cut Fries and Potato Salad. I ordered myself, Half Chicken and Mac N Cheese. I had to wait a bit to get help, but I was understanding because I've worked restaurants before. Mrs. Calhoun's (owner) took my order then I sat in a table. After she helped few customers behind me, she asked me if I wanted an additional plate since she noticed I came with my friend. I said yes, and thank you. People kept coming in to order and others were waiting on their orders. I immediately knew this place was going be good. Once she brought our food, she noticed the table was a bit dirty so she immediately cleaned it herself before giving us our food. I loved the BBQ flavor sauce and the chicken was tender. The Mac N Cheese had black pepper and good cheese texture. I also would like to mention the cup size was perfect for my feasting. I will definitely be back! She gave good service, the food is flavorful. Even my friend liked the food a lot. I plan to go again and this time take my sister and mom with me. I hope and know that in the near future Calhoun's Family Texas BBQ will get a bigger location so there is more seating. I will definitely be able take my siblings and their kiddos. But in the meantime I might just need place a catering order and just let my family try it here at the house, no matter what Calhoun's Family is serving our communities with flavorful BBQ meals, good heart and staying strong through it all. “Honestly, THE BEST filet mignon ever! My daughter's rehearsal dinner started with some amazing apps: crab cakes, calamari, tempura green beans, and bacon wrapped dates. I had the satisfying French onion soup, THE BEST filet mignon, and the superb raspberry cheesecake. The coffee service was perfect. The customer service was absolutely fantastic. They took very good care of us! Highly recommended!”

“My wife and I were out watching the hot air balloons and decided to stop somewhere to eat. This place was on diners drive-ins and dives so we thought we’d stop there. The server recommended Molé which was fantastic if you like sweet Molé. I loved the parking especially because it was wide spots that your car would not get dinged. Between the food, service and the parking I will definitely go again.”

“Went on a Thursday night for wife's birthday. Waitress was very friendly with good humor. Food was delicious, loved the pizza. Crust wasn't too crunchy, was just how I like it. My wife got sauteed mushrooms and they came out perfect. Inside was nice with good atmosphere, don't judge place by outside. Though atmosphere did get knocked a point as somewhere the loudest screeching of a table could be heard, but luckily noise was short lived.”

“Tried 3 different street tacos and all were very good. The chips they bring to the table with 3 different homemade salsas was special. The bottled beer is offered with a frosty mug. The owner waited on us and was very attentive and friendly. A small place that I hope can make it!”

“Good food, nice sushi selection however rice is too much, not so much selection of rice less sushi or sashimi option. Bringing out your food can take time. The section that we were seating was smelly, smelly and stinky. Friendly service who help us. Most likely will be visiting and hopefully they clean the section we were seating.”

“Came in just after 1pm. for lunch and my birthday 🍔. No one was at the podium to seat customers. Another lady was there and said she had been there for 5 minutes and no one ever came. I walked to the bar area and asked if there was anyone seating customers. She stayed she was it, bartender, hostess, and server. She told me to sit anywhere. I had my order promptly taken, served, and checked on frequently during my stay. I ordered the avocado smashed burger wrapped in lettuce. It was very good.”

“I enjoyed my dining experience at Grand Central (GC). The restaurant/ cafe has a very nice vibe: they offer indoor and outdoor seating, is extremely well decorated and clean, with a good number of tables to be able to serve a lot of customers at the same time. We visited GC for Brunch at about 10AM on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We were promptly greeted by the host upon entry and taken to our table. The server was great: she came promptly to take our food and drink orders and helped answer a few questions we had about the items on the menu. We ordered the following: Goat Cheese Salad: Best item of the day - fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors and well presented. Chilaquiles: Meh. Fresh ingredients, but underseasoned. Quinoa Skillet: More of a Spinach skillet as opposed to a Quinoa Skillet. Too much spinach made this dish super soggy. Palm Sugar Waffles: Excellent texture and flavor. Buttermilk Pancakes: Nice. Cafe Latte & Mocha: On point.”
