“Harry's is a cosy, romantic place with well thought out dishes and friendly staff. I went for my boyfriends birthday and they were very helpful and friendly. I ordered the lobster which was divine. Melted perfectly and very garlicky. And I am a garlic girl. My bf got the steak and said it was a perfect meal. Everyone in our party loved their meals and while the price saves it for special occasions for us, the food is amazing and the portions are good.”

“Real gem of a restaurant in Barnstaple. We had some takeaway from here yesterday and it was great! We went for Singapore noodles, Nasi Goerang and some sides of chicken dishes and all of them tasted good and the portions were extremely filling and the prices were reasonable too. The staff were nice and we spoke about places to visit while we're here as I was collecting the food. Very satisfied with the meal and highly recommended!”

“My family and I usually come here for special occasions and this year we decided to visit for New Year's Day. We were very disappointed with a couple of things. When we were seated at our table, staff members were taking down all of the Christmas decorations (very noisily may I add). This was making it very difficult for us to have any conversation or even concentrate on reading the menu. One member of my party's space was very rudely invaded in the process of taking down some decorations and this made them feel quite uncomfortable. Service was a lot slower than usual, even though the restaurant was not very busy. There seemed to be some sort of business meeting going on too because there were measurements being taken of various fittings and fixtures which made us feel even more uncomfortable. When having a drink in the bar before being seated in the dining area, I couldn't hear myself think with all the young children and hustle and bustle going on surrounding them. There were buggies lying around everywhere and little room for anyone else to sit and enjoy a quiet New Years Day drink. The young children then started to affect our meal in the dining area as the parents of said children, thought the dining area was a good place to teach their toddlers how to walk! Very selfish and inappropriate to do when a family is trying to enjoy some quality time together celebrating. Frankly, this has completely ruined our image of SQ and we won't be returning in a hurry, which is extremely unfortunate due to its ideal location and very nice food.”

“Without a doubt the best pizza in Exeter! I always go for a classic Margherita which is always cooked perfectly with the perfect sauce to cheese ratio and a delicious tasting sauce. However the star of the show is without a doubt the garlic bread. This has to be the best garlic focaccia I have ever tasted and everybody I have ever taken here has always agreed. Forever will be my favourite spot in Exeter and a must try for anybody in the area.”
