Called the RAC & they were going to charge quite a bit to come out and rescue me so on the off chance I called HiQ & thankfully they had one tyre available & could fit it for me, even though they were fully booked for that day! Flash forward & within 20 minutes of very slowly limping the car to them, I was on my way to work with a brand new tire. “I have used South Ribble taxis for a number of years now as means to get to and from work. Have never had an issue up until tonight. Rang a taxi at 18:28pm was told operator would send one down. 15 minutes passed, I rang to see how far away my taxi was and the phone said 4 minutes away. I had to cancel as I was going to be late for work. Fast forward to 23:00pm I rang a taxi to go home from work and was told to not cancel a taxi when it was round the corner. Firstly, 4 minutes isn't around the corner. Secondly don't offer the service of cancelling a taxi if this is something you are then going to give a lecture about to a paying customer the next time they try and use your services. I will not be using again. Your company has now lost out on a regular paying customer.”

“Recently dropped off our car for a diagnostic at HiQ and was very shocked at how appalling the service was. First time we dropped off our car at HiQ was around mid July, at the time agreed on the phone a day before, but was told he was too busy and asked us to come back. So came back the second day finally had someone looking into the car and was told they need time to look into the faulty code and will call us back. We also told them that we had a warranty and asked if they could summit the report to the warranty provider when it is ready. As you may have guessed from the two stars, things didn’t go smooth at all. They never called until we started calling them almost everyday to ask what happened with the car, they finally looked into the faulty code and asked us to take our car back for a detailed check after almost 5days plus numerous calls. again that process took almost a week and half also after numerous calls chasing them. By then the whole process from initial diagnostic to submitting the report to the warranty provider already took 3 weeks. The story hasn’t ended, week 4, for the first time they called us back after we called several times asking them the outcome of the claim, and they kept telling us the person did our car was out you need to wait for him to come back (but the fact was that the boss actually knew everything, because when we were talking to this so called employee who were responsible for diagnosing our car we can hear the boss at the background teaching him what to say) to tell us that the claim was rejected we asked why they said the provider did not give a reason. We called the warranty provider and was told that they clearly gave the reason to the HiQ on why the claim was rejected. I guess they just didn’t bother to tell us. And we called back and asked if they could send us the diagnostic report and a quote to change the cam belt, as we didn’t mind paying we just want to fix the car. Called at least 3 times, and now nearly one month and half passed since the first time we dropped off our car, we also moved out of the area we still haven’t received anything from HiQ. So we still don’t know what’s wrong with our car. I hope you can sleep well in the evening because of your service quality and delay could lead to a car accident which could be between life and death. I would have given a one star but at least he still picked up our calls..”

“Just went for a MOT there and was a joke, they somehow created a problem with coolant in my car because they leaked it everywhere then aborted the MOT this is after previously failing an MOT with them and then repairing vehicle with them to fix issues for over £450 plus failed MOT cost of £50! Do not take your car here if you want any kind of service they were rude and could not provide me reasons about why it was aborted and was a complete waste of time when I needed MOT done as quick as possible, literally it said on MOT engine coolant cap was loose which they had loosened so spilt it everywhere so they aborted due to over heating risk what a joke! They make issues to charge you more money”
