“We are visiting Siebenquell SPA resort nearby and were out for a walk to Weissenstadt. We googled the restaurants in the Weissenstadt and found Gasthof sum Deutschen Haus to be the prime candidate for our visit. And we certainly haven’t been disappointed. German cuisine, local beer and best in class service (waiter even tried to greet us in our own language) - this is our take away visiting this place. Prices are also reasonable but you may need to consider booking the table, this place is popular. All in all - highly recommended and we will visit it again if we will ever be in Weissenstadt again.”

“We were in the area with a tour group and had some free time. This was the perfect place to come for a treat and gluhwein, mulled wine, on a cool November day. Service was quick and friendly and we had a very comfortable place to sit with a view of the Christmas market. The market doesn't start until the weekend but we watch some set up. The gluhwein was delicious and the bathrooms were very clean.”

“On the way to Austria we had to pick up a daughter from München airport. This town is next to the airport and has anice old centre with the burger place Effe & Gold. Worth a visit! Good vegan and vegetarian options. Large portions, reasonable price. We had two vegan versions and one vegetarian. Patties seem to be home made from beens, chickpeas or other good veggies. French fries were very good, sweet potato fries bit more fatty. Several beer options and eko soft drinks available. Service friendly, although they kept asking if we need to drink something more. Salad was huge, with lots of green and a bit too much dressing to my taste. Atmosphere good, music not too loud and plenty of space between the tables so you can actually hear what your friends say.”
