“Really good food at a typical Dutch restaurant. They have a regular menu and a gluten-free menu and they take measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination in the kitchen. This place is perfect for celiacs like me. On top of that, they are super caring about other food restrictions. “This place is good for a "Pancake restaurant". The pancakes took long time to arrive (two vegetarian pancakes) and they were pretty big and enough as a meal for an adult. It was tasty. I'm not Dutch so for me it's not part of my tradition. But nothing I would eat more than once a year. We paid 16.90 euro for each pancake, which is quite expensive for such simple food that requires no cooking talent and just one pan, some premade pancake mix and some very cheap ingredients (corn from a tin, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc) and a bit of cheese. You can eat a very nice pizza for that price, which is much much more premium in technique, cost and taste. The atmosphere was so-so. It was very loud with a lot of kids running around, shouting and crying. It's a place for families with kids and pancake is what kids love, so what can I complain about? The service was good. He was nice and helpful but quite short of time, because he had a lot of tables to serve and it was hard to get him. The toilets are downstairs and they were really filthy. There is just one man toilet cabin (+ a few pissoirs), so it's very small for such a big place and needs to be cleaned much more often. All in all: good to come by, if you keep your expectations accordingly.”
