“Had a solo meal here and Calvin at the shop was very helpful with the options and recommended a portion that’s just nice in spice and quantity. Mala taste is exceptional and one of the better tasting one I’ve had in Singapore. Ordered a level 2 spicy dry mala dish and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Memorable experience and will be coming back for more even though I stay 1 hour away from this shop. On the side note, I was told by Calvin that their tom yum base hot pot is self made there. I had to ask for a seat, then I had to ask them for cutlery and when it came to time to pay, the cashier guy was busy chatting with the other waitress and going through the food menu of a neighbouring restaurant, Cheng Ji Seafood.
