“Unfortunately, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Quite a bit of my pasta were sticked together. The worst were 4 pieces of the pappardelle together, causing the middle ones to be tasteless and undercooked. Also, the pappardelle tasted like one of the standard dried pasta that you can find in supermarket. Pistachio tiramisu was alright, but I'll probably choose a normal tiramisu over this.”

“Wow!! All I can say is Wow. It was our first date since having baby and it was as if the staff was briefed. We have never received such a warm service from a restaurant. Everyone went over and above to make my husband and I feel welcomed. There was an obvious language barrier. The waiter took the time to translate the whole menu for us- even googling pictures. The food was so yum, the bread so fresh, the flavours so delicious. I would eat here in a heartbeat. If you looking for a non pretentious place that shows you what the ever talked about delicious French cuisine is just come here- it’s filled with locals. Thank you so much. We will never forget how you made us feel and the food. We are coming back next time we are in Europe.”

“We only had two days in Paris and had to try and make the best of our trip. Day 1 was Disney Paris and day two was the city. We left Disney and made our way to the city. Started by walking to grab lunch while our room was ready. Then took the Big Red Bus to try and make the best of our day. Hit all major places and avoided the rain and did a river cruise . Then it was time for dinner and we came across this place! WOW what a great way to finish off our night in Paris. We waked in and the place already had a nice crowd. The room was set up prefect and the staff was very accommodating right off the start even though we had no reservations they made room for 5 of us. From the appetizers to te main dishes and desserts and drinks they were all a culinary treat. Staff was great, dishes were plated beautifully and the food was delicious. 10/10 for sure and I don’t say that often. Not that I’m a critic but I’ve had my fare share and this place nailed it in every aspect. I hate to raise the bar but tonight they did a great job and we appreciated all of it. When in Paris give them a try. Reservations are I’m sure appreciated but trust me you will no be sorry you tried this place .”

I also tried the mango dessert which was perfect--so freaking good. Be sure to remind the server to remove any fish sauce, eggs, dairy in order to make the items vegan. Definitely will return!!”

There are plants on the side of the restaurant that will fan constantly on you and the food.. 2/5 The food tasted good but because of the service I wouldn’t come back. “Knowing this decent French restaurant by a friend’s recommendation and the visit was totally amazing! It only offers set menu where you can choose entree + main + dessert at dinner time for a basic 42 euro price. It might goes up if special dishes are chosen. My friends and I tried the fish soup and crab salad as entrees. The soup was first came up with a plate of dry meats, salamis, and cheese; then the soup was gently poured into the soup plate. You can taste the rich flavor of the soup and savory added by the ingredients. The crab salad was served with sliced green apples on top to lighten the taste. I’m not sure the what the jelly-like thing between the salas and apple was but it felt like terrine made by chicken broth. I was impressed by the concept of salad We then had pigeon, fish, and risotto. I was not quite used to the smell of pigeon but i still considered it as a good first try. My friends loved it very much. The fish was tender and well cooked. The roasted potatoes were all soaked in the sauce and oil. The asparagus on the risotto sparked this main dish! Although we were so full after the main courses, we still couldn’t resist the charms of French dessert. I really enjoyed this dinner in Paris cause you can see Chez Michel served extraordinary foods with seriousness and care, and their staff brought us joy with their hospitality and cheerful attitudes.”

We randomly stumbled upon this place and went in because the sign said they served traditional French food, and I’m so glad we went in because the food was mind blowing. Many of the locals were ordering the potatoes, and it’s truly no exaggeration to say that these were the best potatoes I’ve ever had. We came back several times for the potatoes and to try their various daily specials, which were all delicious. Service was also very friendly.”
