Initially I was skeptical about their beef tartar because of bad experience with meet elsewhere, so I ordered a different dish, but they were so kind and brought us two complementary tasting portions of tartar with truffle and… it was gorgeous! And the size was like a real portion 😅 Tartar “melted in my mouth” like I expect the good meat to be. Chicken liver pâté was also truly enjoyable. Thanks for your professionalism!”

“Saw the Prosciutto, Cheese Panzarotti ok the menu and wanted to give it a try. They don't open Wednesday, Thursdays so we had to wait till Friday. Easy to make a reservation and they have inside/outside seating. Food, service, atmosphere was great. The one thing was the Prawns we had tastes Frozen, but the bottom of menu does state that some seafood may not be fresh and can be frozen. Prices were fair.”

“Originally we were just visiting here for the wine door, but the line was so long we decided to have lunch and get our wine through the door when the line went done. After seeing this on Stanley Tucci’s show, we definitely had to pay it a visit. I had the porcini truffle pasta and it was cooked perfectly. Very flavorful and balanced. Nothing was overpowering—everything was harmonious. The wine was also very good and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.”

“Lovely little place with some real quality food. The food is simple and done well, choose your meat or veg, fillings and you’re done. Sounds too basic almost however tasted amazing. Clearly there had been some thought put into this by the owners with a beautiful menu and it works. One suggestion would be an English menu for those who don’t speak Italian (appreciate we are in Italy - just thinking about European and further abroad tourists) Would certainly visit again.”

Most recently, La Dispensa served 30 of my friends and family for an incredible dinner. Also, their homemade salami, cheese, and bread served as a wonderful picnic for family and friends in the afternoon before my wedding. We’ve tried: risotto with truffles; and pigeon with veggies and foie gras There were amazing complement: smth with tomatoes and with caviar of the fish- it’s reminded me borsh from my great grandmother- it is the highest compliment. My risotto was soooo good, I’m speechless. Pigeon- new experience, great taste! Also tried smoked blue egg with aubergine base- wow! Amazing location- quite parallel street from the main, comfy 4 tables on the corner outside. Service- there was very professional girl and everything was great.”

“Honestly the best pizza I have ever had and this is not just my opinion, also 2 other people who were with me felt the same. I have never seen so many pizza options in my life! The server was very accommodating and helpful and helped translate the pizzas and helped us choose what would be the best option for us. It's a massive place so service was a bit slow I think they really would benefit with more staff to cater for that many people! We also had to wait for just over an hour for our food which felt unbearable because we were so hungry but again, due to the amount of people there ordering, i think it was to be expected. But it was worth it! The pizza was a good size and there is options to get the gigantic pizza too. An option for everyone really. It was amazing to see the pizza being made and cooked definitely adds to the experience ans the pizzas did not disappoint. You can just taste how fresh the ingredients are and the quality of the flavour! We had pizza at other places and it just wasn't as good. So highly recommend it. It was a bit too loud at times though we could not hear ourselves speak! There was a very lovely group of people behind us who were clearly enjoying themselves but with everyone laughing and talking so loud it's bit hard to have your own conversation at times. We had to shout to each other! Overall you will not be disappointed by going here.”
