“Had a Christmas meal at the Stables with friends in a private room. No complaints about the service. The food was fine albeit a very small portion size for my main course (halibut). The main problem was the cold temperature in the room we had. Despite it being December all three radiators in the room were off. There was a log fire at one end of the long room but this was of no use to those sat at the opposite end of the table. Some of us kept our coats and jackets on. Disappointed.”
