The photo definitely doesn’t do it justice (I was too hungry to take a photo and this is only half the hoagie) I can’t wait to go back to Philly to have this experience again 🥹”

“Extremely cool space, good beer, slow service. I loved the space and the retro feel. They have their menu on VHS tapes. There were lots of games at the bar to play. We went on a Friday night. They had a few vendors selling handmade items and a musician performing. While I normally am not the biggest fan of IPAs (and a majority, like 75% of their beers on tap are IPAs), I really enjoyed most of theirs. They weren’t super hoppy and had some great flavoring. They had the best watermelon sour that I highly recommend! We had mac and cheese, nachos, and a cuban sandwich. They serve food, however, they do not have a traditional working kitchen. The “kitchen” is behind the bar with a single burner, a panini press, and a toaster oven. Definitely good drunk food, afterall my mac and cheese was topped with crushed Cheetos, but this is not fine dining, or to be honest, even a dining experience. Bar service was horrible. It seemed like the bartenders first time working on a Friday night. We were ignored for 10 minutes after sitting down at the bar. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks. They have a line to the bar for people sitting at the tables as they do not have servers. We ended up waiting in this line to get a second round of drinks. Overall, I would give this place another try since I loved the vibes and the sour, but definitely manage your expectations with their food and service.”

“We were here for a family dinner and the host quickly accommodated us with the seating. The waiter came greeted us quickly and was attentive throughout our dining experience despite being busy. The parking in the front is really small so you may not be able to find parking. We just park on the street as there are many spots available. The food is amazing, we ordered the crab cake (highly recommended!), mu shu chicken, and a Peking duck. They serve alcohol so I ordered a Cabernet. Overall, it was an exquisite dining experience and we will certainly come again!”

We were going to order individual entrees but shared the short rib. While the short rib fell off the bone, it was extremely fatty and very rubbery. We left 3/4 of it. I would not order this again. The manager comped 20%, which we weren't looking for. Dessert was included. I would return here with my wife, but choose a different entree. Decent wine, beer, and spirits selection. Off street parking available.”

“This was supposed to be a vegan hawaiian pizza. Instead they forgot most of the toppings and upcharged it anyways. There is exactly 2 pineapple pieces and 6 chives on this. This was over 30 dollars. None of the protiens they advertised as toppings were put on (but I sure did pay for them). It was mostly just sauce bread. If I wanted breadsticks and red sauce, I would have just ordered Domino's. Worst. Don't offer vegan options if you're just gonna take people's money and do a terrible job.”

“*review specific to the breakfast sammy* I used to live near stockyard a couple of years ago. Back then I would have easily given the breakfast sandwich 5/5. You could choose to have a Philly everything muffin and chose your style of egg. Also when you chose to add stock sauce, it was drippin! Upon my visit a few days ago I was immensely excited for this experience. Unfortunately I was severely underwhelmed. Only options for the sandwich was a potato bun and a scrambled egg (in addition to adding a meat of your choice for extra $) Now while this is still fine, it no longer stands out and is virtually the same thing as a corner store sandwich for double the price. Barely any stock sauce and no more drippy yolk like how I loved before. Who knows, maybe I ordered to late and they ran out of Philly everything muffins, but I should still be able to get an egg in the style i want. overall, as someone who ordered breakfast here all the time, i would never get it again. For a whopping $9 i would have gladly spent money somewhere else and gotten more food. Very disappointing stockyard!”

The sandwiches didn’t melt my face off like I was expecting- perhaps porchetta just isn’t my jam so I can’t really fault them. The pastries were the bombbbbb. The margarita pizza danish was so yummy and the sweets were next level. Will be back for more.”
