“I was here Sunday morning with my parents when they opened. I never knew there was a Mediterranean spot here in Walnut Creek. I'd always drive by and I'm glad I saw this. The waitress was helpful because my mom has celiac disease and they were helpful on what dish she can eat without having to interact a problem. For those have gluten free issues, don't you worry. This was the best food I can rate. The pita bread and gyro meat was delicious. I enjoyed every bite of it. Street parking is available but it is enforced so be sure to pay the meter. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with a bar in the middle. I will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.”

“Well…well! WELL! 🔥It took almost three years but I finally discovered a Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area that caters to my discerning Tex Mex taste! Yeah! Portumex Mexican Restaurant in Richmond finally won my 🩷! I ordered a canasta con carne asada! Basically a delish taco shell with steak stuffed with delicious beans, rice, onions and cilantro. The red and green salsas were tasty and I also liked the crema! I had a friend pick up the food but I’m exciting about taking my people to try other dishes! I give this place my thumbs 👍🏽 up! Lmk if you have Bay Area Mexican food favorites I need to try.”

“Lots of indoor and outdoor dining. They are dog friendly, which was a huge plus! The food is average for the price. Tried the pot pie, I was so disappointed it was inedible with a bad flavor. It was the only time I've ever had food sent back to the kitchen. Gave this spot a try again recently, and I absolutely loved the turkey club with sweet potato fries! My mom really enjoyed the steak and mashed potatoes, plus the veggies are delicious. The servers are all attentive and friendly. Was very happy with the service and nice atmosphere! Would recommend dining here at least once while in town. I Just don't recommend the pot pie.”

Our guests were so happy and full. Everyone of them took plates (and I mean ates) to go and ask about this wonderful food. Mohammed made for us Chicken kebab tray, beef Shawarma tray, chicken Shawarma tray, salad tray, rice tray with fried almond on the top , pita bread, and all kind of sauces. I really recommend this restaurant and try it yourself. Thank you so much Mohammed you mad our wedding anniversary a really special and one of a kind celebration. “I really enjoy going to Kinders, the food is great, however, I will not be returning this one. The teenage workers here are very lazy and inattentive. We stood waiting for someone to help us while 3 workers just stood around chit-chatting. Finally one came over and took our order. This teenage worker who took our order left out stuff like my potato salad and coleslaw. Fortunately we weren't charged for it. The Ball Tip sandwiches we ordered looks like they're barely cooked and are almost cold. Avoid this location, try the one on Ygnacio Valley. Came back to this one, that was a mistake. I waited for almost 15 minutes and not helped, but the manager, or I think was the manager, stood in the back saying "sorry about the wait, guys" every 2 minutes, but not doing anything about it. Kinders needs to cut and run on this location.”

“The food is just OK. You can get better ribs at Costco for half the price. The restrooms are dirty, which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. It appears that the tables are not cleaned during the day. I can never find a clean table. Then there is the service. Every time I come in here, it's the same scenario. I will stand at the counter and watch 5 or 6 employees, all avoiding eye contact with me. No greeting, never a "I'll be right with you." They are too busy chatting amongst themselves. They will consistently make me wait at the counter 10 minutes before acknowledging me and offering to take my order.”

I enjoy my spicy food, so I sampled the Hot at the suggestion of our fantastic waiter, and eventually ordered the Medium+. Don't want to know what the Hot Hot tastes like. Heat was fantastic, but so was the spice and flavor. The fries could have been an afterthought, but were equally on point, well coated with a tasty seasoning blend.”
