“My husband and I have dined at Millwrights on the bridge and in the tavern a number of times, but our most recent experience blew us away. We sat in the dining room for our anniversary and the attention to detail to make us feel special made our night feel like a dream. The service, food, drinks and views were impeccable (and I have to add that we are both difficult to impress). We ordered the short rib and duck breast and both agreed it was the best we’d ever had. Millwrights also sources their food locally which is something we both greatly appreciate. We look forward to our next visit, thank you for taking care of us!”

“If you are on a road trip along 84, you must stop here. It’s a little out of your way but worth it. You can get a more quintessential taste of American than this diner. The moment we walked in, locals were chatting with the workers behind the counter and one of the employees looks at the car we pulled up in and says “you are not from around here” and proceeds to talk to us. Based on recommendations we got the hot pastrami mikes burger onion rings and a milk shake. Everything was delicious and priced reasonably. My kind of place.”

“I gotta be honest here . I love those breakfast sandwiches altho they mess up my order sometimes when I order sandwich with white or cheddar or even swiss cheese they hardly ever get it right. Alot of people come here for their fresh baked bread and coffee,despite them getting getting my order wrong at times I still go there (their sandwiches are good) but this morning I called to place my order and avoid having to wait in line when the person who picked up told me that I could not place my order because they were busy . This is something totally unheard of in my lifetime of ordering over the phone anyplace where they serve food, sandwiches,etc. Not a happy camper this morning.( "nuff said")”

“I recently came with my two boys to pick up our order. On the way out my son dropped the freshly baked pizza right in front of the counter! The ladies at the counter made him feel better and they made us another fresh pizza. They are so nice here. The food is made with that same amount of love and care. The pizza sauce is tangy and sweet, the toppings are fresh and the crust is light and baked to a light golden brown. I love broccoli on my pizza and each time it's still crunchy and lightly seasoned. “Excellent pie. I know it’s probably sacrilegious to say, but it’s a very good NY style pie. I only tried the NY style (aka New Haven style) but they also have a grandma and a Detroit. The NY was very good - nice crisp, cracked but held, great sauce and high quality cheese. The only reason I have it a 4 was because the middle was soft/floppy (wasn’t stretched with the right consistency. Overall a great pie!”

“Wow this is so crazy. I received my delivery order which consists of an order of soup. It came in a foam container and when I went to open the lid, instead of the lid opening at the seam, the container cracked spilling hot soup all over my hands. I called store to notify them but the owner/manager said there was “nothing he can do” and has been “selling it like this for 40 years”. I was polite and had expected an apology and perhaps a replacement/refund and to notify them so it doesn’t happen to anyone else because I got a really bad burn from the hot contents. But the guy was extremely rude and escalated to yelling at me - will never eat here again.”
