“Bus your tables people! This is a fast casual restaurant where you walk up to the counter to order, even though the seating area is nice enough to be a sit down restaurant. The staff had a hard time keeping up with multiple large parties who did not clean up after themselves at all. That aside, it's a lovely place for a family meal, since the space is nice, you get your food relatively quickly, and it's affordable. You get a solid amount of flavorful meat and your choice of base (rice, salad, freekah, etc.) and two rather small sides. My only wish is that there were more veggies on the plate. The salad side is TINY and there is no side salad available. We got the salad main to top off, but it was also primarily meat -- which is great for some folks, just not what we were looking for 🙃.”

“This establishment has been around for a long time and I haven’t been here for years but happened to be in the area during lunch time. Ordered the Capellini Pomodoro with Shrimp and the Caprese Salad. Always eat the bread with garlic whipped butter. It’s warm, crunchy and the butter is all guilt and all good. I’m not sure how authentic the pasta is but it’s delicious, especially with a spoonful of crushed red peppers (don’t judge me). It’s simple and refreshing and my pasta was thin but still al dente. Feels homely. The Caprese Salad is simple but exactly what I expected. It’s kind of hard to go wrong with a slice of mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil and some roasted garlic. Presentation could’ve been a little better but I’ll let you judge from the pictures. The only dings come from the dated atmosphere that’s in need of a makeover and the slow service. I wasn’t the only one sitting around waiting for some help. I think if the restaurant was to iron out a few kinks, it can become a destination but maybe the locals like it this way. I don’t know. I didn’t order the sausage bread this time around but I highly recommend it.”

“Wow! I found my favorite Korean restaurant in Silicon Valley! It's a bit noisy because it’s really busy. But, this place has great authentic Korean food. I would venture to say that the taste and quality are comparable to the best ones in Southern California. We had combo tofu soup and pork belly wrap. The pork was soft and flavored the way my mom used to make. The combination of pickled jalapeños, spicy radish mix, salty fermented shrimp, and Korean bean paste wrapped with the pork into a salty nappa cabbage roll... Um... it was good!!! The place provides 12, yes, 12 side dishes! All those were good in their own Korean way! The tofu soup had well-balanced taste also that went well with all the side dishes. Will definitely come back for more. HIghly recommended.”

“If you’re looking for a caterer for an event, look no further! Gunther’s Catering has everything you need and more! We used Gunther’s Catering for our backyard October wedding in Willow Glen. Gunther’s provided food, beverages, bartender, service staff, tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, and ice. Not to mention pickup and delivery! Steve (from Gunther’s) was nothing short of amazing. He patiently fielded all our questions (and trust me, there were many!) and provided suggestions, sage advice, and (as needed) a hefty dose of much-needed reassurance. We even had the luxury of a private tasting at Gunter’s Restaurant. Steve also provided recommendations for other vendors such as a florist, DJ service, etc. Steve came out for a site visit twice to figure out logistics, spacing and “what goes where.” He met with me and our planning team and patiently considered all ideas and offered his own tried and true suggestions. Since this was my first, last and only wedding it was important to me and you know what? It was just as important to Steve. The food was outstanding! In fact, our friends are still talking about how great the food was. The service staff and bartender were efficient and professional. They knew what they were doing and it showed! And those cookies! Our backyard was transformed into a magical venue, even surpassing what we had hoped for. We have Steve and Gunther’s Catering to thank for it!”

“I had really high expectations of this place. We ordered the mentaiko udon, tempura udon and yaki onigiri. The mentaiko arrived promptly within 10 min but, waiting another 15 min and I inquired about my very simple order. They brought out a lukewarm plain udon without tempura and very soft broken short noodles. it takes 25 minutes for the vegetable tempura is what they told me. And they even forgot the dipping sauce until I asked for it after I almost finished it. The only highlight was the tempura was actually very good. But the udon was horrible. Service was friendly the entire time but still there isn't an excuse for why it took so long and the broken noodles tasted like defrosted from frozen noodles are not worth the premium or additional costs. Oh yeah, yaki onigiri was also very bad as in it was undercooked and mushy inside.”

We made reservations from before and made it here with a group of friends. The outdoor seating is cute and cozy and catches your eye right away. We sat outside and turned on the heat as well. Our server attended to us right away and told us more about their cocktails. We enjoyed couple and then ordered some shared plates for the table. The food was really yum and had so much flavor. The cheese (which was vegan ofc) was super soft and brilliant tasting.. perhaps made of cashews :) We are definitely coming back again. Our friends who live closer have already made it back again!”

Yes, Happy Lemon, they of course have some Lemon/salted cheese drinks which I have not tried yet but used my standard test, green milk tea(more jasmine at some places).not bad at all, bonus they can make it hot.
