Deli Board

“Been following Deli Board on Instagram for a while and finally stopped by today. I came here for takeaway during lunchtime and there was a line but it went by fast and I didn't wait too long for my order. I had one of the specials, a.stud (Romanian pastrami, avocado, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, cole slaw, Board sauce on a garlic French roll) and it was beyond delicious! The sandwich had a perfect balance of salt, fat, acid and heat. Only thing I could've used more of was the slaw. Amazing overall. Definitely worth the price and wait (the sandwich was two meals for me!).”

“Visited here for lunch with family. There was a 30min wait since the place was busy. We ordered several pizzas, salads, cake and coffee. Pizzas were very unique and very tasty. Service was excellent. They have couple of tables inside but several tables outside. Great place for dining.”

The Morris

2501 Mariposa St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States

“From start to end, it was a memorable dinner. We started with the caviar which came with a lovely brioche and some condiments. We tried the pork cracklings and the duck heart skewers, super tasty. The mushroom profiteroles was a bit too heavy on the bread for my likes but my friend really enjoyed them. The heirloom tomatoes salad was super good. It came with a kind of a sauce that was incredible with the sourdough (probably one of the best sourdough breads I’ve had in San Francisco). The charred broccoli with squid was super tasty although I prefer if the squid came whole rather than in chunks. The pork belly was spectacular: it literally melted in your mouth and the skin was super crunchy. The beans and sauce were light and hearty... We washed the feast with a mezcal cocktail (Saint patron) and some doughnuts. It was a wonderful feast and I’ll be back (for a lighter dinner!) and try their charcuterie. I have to mention we had a table outdoors and they were very accommodating to make sure we weren’t cold. The set up is great and atmosphere was lovely. I gave only four stars to the service because they offered to taste the wine to the only man amongst us. They said it was because they thought he was the one ordering the wine. Even if that was the case, I appreciate if they asked the table instead of assuming is the man who chooses and tries the wine. They apologised, but I thought is worth mentioning.”

Cracked & Battered

“This place is special. I ordered chicken and waffle. Both chicken and waffle are crispy from the outside and tender inside. I am surprised with waffle because the moisture and a bit of chewyness are still there. Usually crispy waffle tends to disintegrate and lacks texture. However, this place knows how to make it right. I appreciated a small gesture in the dish like blueberry garnish, high quality syrup, and generous whipped butter. Oh the chicken is well dressed with spices and salt so it is flavorful dish as well. I would love to come back to this place to eat the same thing over and try other dishes too.”

Tony's Coal Fired Pizza & Slice House
4.4

Open until 10:00 PM

1556 Stockton St, San Francisco, CA 94133, United States

“One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. I had a slice of webb’s double sausage, since the cashier recommended me. It was so delicious, but was a bit too much meat for me. People who love a lot of pepperonis and sausages on a pizza would love it I think. The slice was pretty big so it was satisfying. I wanna come back to tase other flavors, too!”

Oasis Grill

The Yellow Submarine
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

503 Irving St, San Francisco, CA 94122, United States

“The Yellow Submarine easily has the best sandwiches in the whole Sunset district. The secret is they toast their sandwiches (Boston, or Quiznos-style). They also add a really nice, fairly mild hot sauce, which just pulls the whole sandwich together. I always get a medium Italian Combo, which is plenty large for one hungry person. I’ve never even thought about getting a large.”

“Shawarma is absolutely delicious! The tender, flavorful meat, combined with fresh vegetables and creamy sauces, creates a mouthwatering experience. It's the perfect balance of savory and tangy flavors. I highly recommend trying shawarma if you haven't already! 🌯💯❤️”

“I got the Leggo My Eggplant on sourdough and added pesto. I liked it a lot, very happy about the decision to add pesto. I think next time I’ll ask them to hollow out the bread a little so the contents of the sandwich don’t fall out when biting into it. I also think some sort of hot pepper spread would make this sandwich fantastic, but I didn’t ask about that. Next time.”

Lou's Cafe
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1508 Taraval St, San Francisco, CA 94116, United States

“We stumbled upon this gem and we’re very glad we did. I had the Roma and we also got a chicken pesto and a veggie. All three were delicious and generous portions. We took half home and they were almost as good the second time around. If you’re in the area and you like sandwiches, give this place a try.”

Sunset Cantina

“Utterly fantastic tacos and endless drink options. The tortillas are so incredibly soft and fresh and they make them daily in house. The meats are tender and juicy. Guacamole is soft and creamy. I absolutely loved it here and can’t wait to return!”

“I was blown away by this diner’s incredible atmosphere and scrumptious fried chicken sandwich. The place is spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming vibe from the moment you step in. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Now, let's talk about the chicken sandwich – it's an absolute delight! Perfectly cooked and flavorful. If you're a fan of great food in a clean and cozy setting, this diner is a must-try. Highly recommended!”

Troya Restaurant
4.4

2125 Fillmore St, San Francisco, CA 94115, United States

“This Turkish restaurant is “fluff less”, meaning it doesn’t focus on fancy decorations, but delivers delicious food and great service. The DJ upon entering the restaurant was a special touch that we often don’t see at many restaurants especially during the day. The music was a bit too loud but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the food. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The sauces and selection of spices accompanied by the skewers is such a great idea. The lentil soup was perhaps the lentil soup we’d ever had.”

Kaiju Eats Ramen & Izakaya
4.4

3409 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118, United States

“Always reliable ramen here. Great service; only one or two vegan options but they will accommodate your request. Very cramped dining area, avoid coming after 4pm because you’ll have to wait a while for a table.”

Squat & Gobble Cafe
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

1 W Portal Ave, San Francisco, CA 94127, United States

“We decided to give this brunch place a try since it’s few blocks from our place and we had a great experience here. My husband ordered breakfast burritos and I got Italian crepe which is savory crepe with Italian sausages with generous amount of cheeses and veggies. I really love their dishes were healthy and not overly salty which is the case for many restaurants. Mine was full of flavors and portion was so large that I took the leftover to go to have it next day . My kid got chicken tenders and they were delicious. I am so glad that I’ve found a great brunch place in west Portal and can’t wait to try some sweet crepes next time !”

“I’m not sure whether this place deserves 4 or 5 stars. The granola is excellent, really good. The toast was good, but way too sweet. The coffee, especially the espresso was only okay-ish: a bit thin, not very intense. Why I decided to give 5 stars anyway? Because of the great service.”

Genki Crepes & Mini Mart
4.4
( 16 reviews )
Open until 11:00 PM

330 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94118, United States

“Genki is a staple in the Richmond! Usually only come here for crepes, but the mini mart has a great collection of items for purchase. I usually get sweet crepes, but have recently been getting their savory ones. I actually really enjoyed the savory crepes. I got the ham, cheese (mozzarella), and lettuce crepe. The cheese is nice and gooey and the lettuce provides a nice freshness to offset the saltiness of the cheese and ham. I also love getting their sweet crepes as they always hit the spot. There's some seating inside, but also benches outside. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick meal or dessert. Street parking is most likely your only option. There is residential, but only if you're lucky.”
