“I’m very hard to please when it comes to Chinese food, so when my husband suggested we find a new place in our new area I wasn’t excited. However, Rainbow exceeded my expectations and my hesitation. We went a week before Christmas and loved it. Fast carry out service, and the spring rolls, egg rolls and pan fried dumplings I had were amazing. My husband had the almond chicken and fried rice and loved it. We enjoyed that first visit so much we went back on Christmas Day and they were PACKED! Yet, my carry out order was ready in just 30 minutes, the owners were super nice and everyone in the restaurant was friendly and happy even though the wait for a table was an hour. I’m not sure about the other reviews, but we absolutely love this place. Try it for yourself.”

“Food was amazing, we got the Chicken Paitan and Black Tonkotsu Ramen with added spice. All of the noodle dishes were delightful, the pork in the tonkatsu was by far a favorite, my wife is not a fan of pork but was surprised how much she loved it in the dish. They are accommodating of allergies and everything was fresh and flavorful. We also had Snow Maiden Sake also quite good. On a second visit we had the Black tonkotsu Ramen again and the Udon Set and were very pleased.”

“I've been there only once before. Unfortunately I do not remember what I had last time. The look and taste of the food was great. I truly did like it. My only complaint is the butter on my pizza crust. It almost smelled bad and a overwhelming smell of "bad restaurant" . The presentation and taste of everything else was exceptional. It was only that butter. The 2 guys that helped me were fantastic. I still will stop again(when I have time) 1/24/24 at about 11:30. Great job guys.”

Nope, nachos were basic, and i paid $5 extra for chicken. If there was a quarter cup of chunked chicken, im exaggerating. The pizza was horrible. Burnt, greasy, non melted cheese. Hubby ate it because we paid for it, and we were hungry. Service was horrible, place was dirty. Bathroom floors were sticky....grosss! Either new management or iwners dont care. Just shovel in the money. It is a beer garden after all... probably dont come here for the food, which is a good idea! Picture tells it all. Royal oak is very cool, with waaaay better restaurants.”

“I needed a vegetarian option and opted for a falafel sandwich. The wrap was an absolute mess and the falafel lacked flavor. I could not even hold my wrap, it needed to be eaten with a knife and fork. When I tried to pick it up it completely fell apart (see photo). Above that, I tried to order online and it would not work. I was in a hurry and this restaurant has “express” in the name of the business, yet it took me 20 minutes to get out the door despite there being no line and about 4-5 workers. Really disappointing that lunch for me and my colleague was nearly $30 and hardly edible. Won’t be back.”

“I ordered the chicken tender dinner online. I went to pick it up. The girl was texting and after 2 hellos didn't look up. After a bit louder "excuse me" she finally looked up. I got home with my order and the portion size looked like a kids meal. This meal was $12. The food also looked and tasted microwaved. I should have been more suspicious since I showed up 10 minutes before my posted time and the food was ready. Never coming here again”
