“Really nice bakery. If you need a bakery that caters to most common allergens and common dietary needs, then this is the place for you. Staff here are great and the range of products is plentiful. Great selection of fresh, packaged and frozen desserts and pastries. Queues can form later in the day so coming earlier is definitely better. Would happily return to get more treats in the future.”

“Everyone from friends to my grandmother loves the food here. While the bowls are great, I definitely recommend getting a variety of tacos so you can try everything! Our favorites are the fish taco, grilled chicken taco, and then for the bowl the Korean fried chicken! The reality though is you can’t go wrong with any option. Service is also super quick and the servers are really nice. Good options for beverages too (and I love the chocolate chip cookies also).”

“I’ve visited the original Cholita Linda location in Temescal a few times now over the years and really enjoyed their food. This restaurant is another location of theirs in Alameda which was more convenient on my trip so I stopped by. Food wise everything tasted delicious just as I remember. I’ve tried all the tacos over the years but the Baja Fish is my favorite and now just order multiple of them when I visit. The fish is super fresh and pairs nicely with their housemade crema and salsa. Make sure to top it off with a bit of the orange hot sauce. On this visit, the Alameda location service was a bit slow despite there not being too many customers. I’ll probably stick to the Temescal location, but definitely be back for their tacos!”

“When I say I eat here a lot, I mean I eat here a LOT. You won't find low quality ingredients, and you will probably be surprised by the size of a "Slice" it's almost 1/4 of a pie! All of their regular pizzas are fantastic! I'm a big fan of the Porchetta, which has thick sliced pork belly and and salsa Verde which make for an amazing slice. Other menu options of note are the Meatball sub, and their house salads (with in house made croutons), a great selection of canned craft beers, awesome house made brownies, and my favorite garlic cheese bread. All of which are sure to leave you super satisfied! Either order online if you're getting takeaway, or swing by for a delicious meal on their comfortable patio!”

“Not much to say about this restaurant other than it's authentic Japanese soba served in a somewhat cozy setting. They have outdoor heating for most of the outdoor seating, but not all unfortunately. Didn't get a good look inside but they do have tables all around. You order and pay upfront before sitting down. The staff are very attentive and will refill your water right away. My only problem with the food is.. it's expensive even for Bay Area standards. Each soba we ordered was $25 before tax and tip. I know soba is more rare than ramen, but this is kinda crazy.”

“So happy this restaurant has finally opened (soft opening)! We’ve been coming here 3 times in the last 2 weeks since we live right next to it. So far all the items we’ve tried have been delicious especially their dole whip (similar to Disneyland) and pork belly chips 😋. There are big screen tv inside for the sports fans and seating outside for the water view.”

“Was there to meet a friend and I’m not local there. The place looks nice and clean. It had strange chlorine smell from cleaning that was very strong to levels of off putting. We chose to sit outside. The beer selection was very main stream and not much of interesting stuff. The food had vegan label available, but very few options. Even the beyond burger was with something that made it not vegan. It didn’t advertise as vegan place and it is not. The service was nice, but very slow. It cool to give people time to make up their mind, but food usually arrives sooner. I started to wonder where’s the beer. It has its own parking lot.”

Although I only get a to-go order, the owner and the staff were extremely friendly and nice. This place is a gem! Highly recommended. Parking is street parking. This is why they raised their prices to cover costs and there is also now no choice of sandwiches. I think they had an item that became too popular and they just don’t want to make them so they overcharge and underperform to discourage you ordering it. Too bad because I also shopped there but can go elsewhere to local markets. Hope they might return to form in the future”
