Lodeve Museum
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:30 AM

Adresse du musée : Square Georges Auric Adresse postale :, 1 Pl. Francis Morand, 34700 Lodève, France

“The temporary exhibition is worth seeing, though not all the paintings are to my taste. The permanent display is very well done with a good focus on Lodève and surrounds. It made sense of the regional geomorphology.”

Foissac Cave
4.5
( 16 reviews )

Cap de Tête, 12260 Foissac, France

“Very good experience. The natural formations are striking and the display of the prehistoric finds very informative. Our young guide Hugo summarised for me in English so that I felt part of the French group. This made a huge difference”

Musée De Valence, Art Et Archéologie
4.4
( 10 reviews )

4 Pl. des Ormeaux, 26000 Valence, France

“A great museum! It has several areas, such as history, art (old and new) and nature (stuffed animals). It is spacious and very well organized, and it has a modern look. The employees are nice and give you details about the exhibited items, and even struck up casual conversation. The entrance fee is 5€. They also sometimes have a separate exhibition (when I visited they had a ceramics exhibition), and if you want to visit that too the entry is 8€, museum and exhibition incuded. I recommend visiting it!”

Av. de Lyon, 01960 Péronnas, France

“We stopped here to let our children (4 years old and 1 year old) run and move a little in the middle of our long journey back home to Paris after vacation in the Alps. A great place! Too bad we're not close to come back :(”

Site Archéologique: Grottes Et Musée
4.4
( 16 reviews )

28 Rue de l'Église, 07130 Soyons, France

“Fantastic museum with interesting (inter)national archeological findings. Very friendly and competent staff. Furthermore, the tours given in the nearby caves are absolutely fantastic and worth waiting for (they take place every half hour). P.S. There is a cosy micro-brewery close by: On a hot day a cold Raspberry Berliner Weiße or a fresh Session IPA can be very much recommended!”

Synchrotron Soleil - Cnrs - Cea Paris-saclay
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

L'Orme des Merisiers Départementale 128, 91190 Saint-Aubin, France

“This synchrotron is used for all kinds of research. We got a tour of the facility and really enjoyed checking this place out as first year physics students. The lady who gave us a presentation was funny and well spoken. The staff was really chil about us lunching there. It was a unique experience to be able to check out a synchrotron. The only downside is that the presentation didn't really match our knowledge, I felt like the presentation was geared more towards the general public while we would have loved to get into the technology more in depth.”

Library Le Trente
4.4
( 6 reviews )
Closed until 01:00 PM

30 Av. Général Leclerc, 38200 Vienne, France

“Le Trente est sur son trente-et-un. Could easily spend hours in there, it's that good a public library. Very helpful and friendly staff, amazing selection of graphic novels (the French love them and rightly so), good kids section, small but interesting selection of jazz CDs. And that's only what I saw, it's big and there are many more sections. Recommended!”
