Closed until 10:00 AM

1830 Royal Ln, Dallas, TX 75229, United States

“I loved my experience here at IRC. Everything was very clean, including well-kept bathrooms. I visited with my younger cousins who were 7 and 12 and my grandparents who were in their 50s. It was a fun trip for the entire family. We were all marveled by the extreme attention to detail and loved the fact that every part of the exhibit was either factual or biblical. Plus, the planetarium has 3 different showings, so we will be back!!”

National Border Patrol Museum

4315 Woodrow Bean Transmountain Dr, El Paso, TX 79924, United States

“I stopped in here to see how my tax dollars were being wasted, but i was floored that this is all donation run and it is an AMAZING amount of learning packed into a little building! Not just about the border with Mexico, but also Canada and beyond. A lot of great exhibits and donated items from agents, cars, helicopter, plane! I have recommended this place to many people now! Amazing stop on a cross country trip!”

2201 E Road to Six Flags St, Arlington, TX 76010, United States

“This was my 3rd favorite ride at SFOT. The speed is so great, the 2 helixes both caused me to grey out from its intensity, the sideways turns were pretty freaky when you’re high up, and this ride even has some airtime. I do wish it had powerful airtime on the 1st drop. Overall I had so much fun on this ride and I rate it an 7 out of 10 because I wish it had powerful airtime like the New Texas Giant.”

Fort Worth Museum Of Science And History - Omni Theater
4.4

Closed until 10:00 AM

1600 Gendy St, Fort Worth, TX 76107, United States

“Wonderfully curated displays with helpful volunteers throughout. Variety of indoor and outdoor (giant bubble making station!) spaces to enjoy for some quiet time or a snack. Amazing children's interactive themed playrooms. I could have spent the whole day there. Outside the building, many bronzes to appreciate as well.”

Odessa Meteor Crater

Closed until 10:00 AM

5599 Meteor Crater Rd, Odessa, TX 79763, United States

“Located just outside of Odessa, TX, 3 miles South of I-20. It was very easy to locate, and is well worth the visit if you are in the area. Unlike the Barringer Crater in AZ, this is not a family owned cash grab. It's free admission, has a small, but interesting museum, and they rely heavily on donations and sales to maintain the place. The site actually has two impact craters, one which is completely filled in and one that is mostly filled. They have a footpath around the crater rim area with plenty of informational signs. As you leave the site, there are signs designating the bodies of our solar system. It's crazy to think about the scale of it. The inner rocky planets and sun were all located within about 200 feet of another, and three miles later there's Pluto.”
