“Why can't I pick 10 stars?? This restaurant is amazing and without doubt the best on the Coast. We've enjoyed Palette and most of the other fine dining restaurants on the Coast but Ladybird beats them all with flavor, quality, service and atmosphere. Located outside the former Versace hotel near Marina Mirage, across the road from the Sheraton Hotel, this is my number one recommendation for superb delicious well presented food, and the prices are just right for this quality and the premium waterfront location. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced and excellent quality. Everything is wonderful but the duck spring rolls are out of this world with superb flavor, texture and freshness. I'm not normally a fan of spring rolls but these are worth every cent, and I doubt I'll ever experience anything better. But I love everything here and truly believe their shared salmon dish is the ultimate salmon meal. OMG, the flavours are superb. This could very well be the best restaurant in Australia. 10 golden stars!!”

“Found this gorgeous place as we were driving through Cleveland last night. Absolutely delicious food and the atmosphere was just so relaxing with a pianist playing. Food was superb and my fish was the best I have tasted in a long time. Felt like I had stepped back in time to where you get quality service and food. The staff were so attentive. Beautiful white table cloths which just adds a special extra touch. Took a walk down near the water under the moonlight. This restaurant is just stunning. Will be taking a drive again there soon. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and night! Feel like I have missed out not knowing this place existed.”

“Great family run place! We stopped here for fish and chips when all the “dine in” restaurants were closed (between 3-5:30). Dave himself was manning the counter and ”Mrs. Dave” was the chef in the kitchen. Not being familiar with Australian fish (Baramundi and Red Emperor) Dave gave me a lesson on the attributes of each and how to tell farm-raised fish from wild-caught (they only use wild-caught). I wanted a white, flaky, “non-fishy” fish so Dave recommended the Red Emperor. My friend got the Baramundi. We both thought it was the best fish & chips we’ve had in a long time. Fries (“chips”) were perfectly crisp as well. It’s a take away spot but they also have three tables to sit outside and enjoy. Nice people and good food. Highly recommend”

“Stopped by for an early dinner just before 5PM. We were immediately seated as only 4-5 tables were occupied. The ordering process is a little convoluted, and we had little help from the staff since you place your order by scanning a QR code. We had to confirm that our order was even placed.They also have a membership program that allows you to collect points towards free dishes, which is a nice offer. The food was prepared quickly and was super tasty. The ingredients were fresh and not too salty. I will definitely go back. I can easily see how my experience could be different if we went to this restaurant during a busy period. The waitstaff tend to just stand around. More training on customer service could help a ton. One other thing, there were lots of flies in the dining area and it it annoying having to constantly fan your food.”
