Been to other places where the service makes the meal, sadly this was not the case, friendly treatment was lacking but the food made up for it. I though the food was OK, wasn't bad, just missed something. My daughters tomato pasta was incredibly oilly. Starters of mozzerla and tomorrow were quite bland. Seafood mains were again OK, just not great. Waitress was very good.”

“Our Airbnb host recommended this place while we were in Florence, and it was right outside our space, so it was too convenient not to try. We walked in as soon as they opened, and we were immediately greeted by who I can only assume to be one of the owners. We don’t know too much Italian, and the gentleman seating apologized that he did not speak very good English, but we worked together to communicate throughout the night! The atmosphere was really nice and felt very upscale. Pretty soon after we were seated, all of the tables filled. We ordered a starter of salmon, tuna and barramundi (I think) tartare. It was not seasoned, but served with salt, pepper, olive oil and bread and was a very simple and delicious starter. For mains, we desperately wanted good pasta, so my boyfriend got the daily special, which was a spaghetti with sardines and fresh tomato sauce, and I got fresh pasta with a mix of shellfish. Both dishes were very delicious and I had to do my best not inhale it in two seconds. We also had the house white wine, which was really a nice wine. For dessert we had the presumed owner’s recommendation of tiramisu. Oddly, we’d had bad tiramisu during our stay in Italy, but this tiramisu was the best we had during our entire trip. I am a believer that if food is made with love, it will show through the food, and I feel the opposite to be true as well. I think this place puts a lot of love into their food and their customers reap the benefits. I highly recommend you stop by if you have a chance!”

“Horrible experience, really bad, uncommodating customer service. Arrived there at 8pm hungry, well-knowing that a spot will most likely not be available but we heard from friends that take away is good. Told the guy we wanted pizza to take away. He said right now it's full but we can come back in 1 hour. We discussed it and said ok in 1 hour we come back and order our pizzas to take home. At 9pm I returned from a beach walk super hungry to order our pizzas, got told 20mins until we can order. Wife and 2yo were already fuming and I was starting to get angry but guy still didn't take our orders for later, just told us come back soon. We waited and when I asked at 21.20pm he told us with no shame we should return at 10. When I was then getting very upset, he pretended he didn't understand me even though he understood me well before. If he told us right away that today is very difficult and it's gonna be very late we would have went somewhere else. result: hungry upset wife and crying child and no food. Thanks for nothing, won't ever try to eat there again.”

“Very lovely people and atmosphere. Food was great. Only (very slight) issue I had was that the prawns was not cleaned (de-veined) before cooking which for me personally was not great and took time to do myself before tucking in. But if this does not bother you then this meal would be amazing. And even after all that cleaning I could see why they prepare it the way they do because the meat of the prawns was just delicious and very sweet. The local wine they recommended was absolutely amazing. Be prepared to wait a little bit for service as they are a bit busy but as they say, all good things come to those who wait hey. Enjoy.”
