Blue Ocean Fish&chips
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

4292 SE Mile Hill Dr, Port Orchard, WA 98366, United States

“This is one of my favorite local business. It's run by a family and the main hostess (Jin - spelling is probably wrong) is an absolute delight. She goes out of her way to remember customers and create a positive experience. The food is fantastic - we usually get fish/chips, the Blue Ocean special, fried shrimp, the avocado salad, or the burgers. (who knew they have one of the best burgers in town?!) Decor is cute but a little dated. We have never regretted going there, order in or carry out. Support local businesses!”

Drayton Harbor Oyster Company
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$

685 Peace Portal Dr, Blaine, WA 98230, United States

“This place is killer. My wife and I love oysters, but this place is on a different level. It’s like the west coast version of what you’d expect in P.E.I. The staff are friendly and the oysters are a must. Including the grilled oysters (numerous flavours, my favourite was blue cheese). They also have beer on tap and some really nice wines. Win win for sure. Go check them out!!”

Sushi Swagger Tamura

“Wonderful sushi and very friendly and helpful staff. The Hamtastic and Golden Dragon Rolls were our favourites. Book ahead like we did to guarantee a table. Would recommend”

Toyota Sushi

( 8 reviews ) $$

12543 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98125, United States

“The first time I visited Toyoda I sat at the sushi bar and sat next to a gentleman who sat in the corner near the door. After asking if he came here often, he said “I come here every day it’s open.” Literally every single day?!?! Yes, he responded saying “What… I like fish.” Okay, I clearly found a die hard fan of Toyoda 🤣 After a couple of visits I have a pretty good understanding of the quality of food and how this restaurants operates (generally speaking). Here are some of my thoughts: 1. The food is CONSISTENTLY exceptional. You go to some restaurants and sometimes its great and sometimes it’s okay. Toyoda’s quality of fish and food is always extremely high. You can tell they care just as much about the ingredients as they do about their clients. I don’t leave reviews for restaurants if they are just okay or above average. Just find out for yourself and taste the wonders of Toyoda! 2. It’s basically a family run restaurant. The owners are so kind and warm, and they never skimp out on portions. They always give you way more than you expect. I love this generosity. You rarely see this in the food industry. 3. They take venmo or cash only. No reservations. Also, their hours are extremely limited. I think they are open for only 3 hours so it gets very crowded. Like I mentioned, there are some die hard fans. I’m afraid of too many people coming after I post this but I just have to because I feel like I owe it to them. Okay that’s all folks. Hope you have an almost religious like experience at Toyoda 🙏”

Zona Blanca Ceviche Bar
4.7
( 8 reviews ) $$

157 S Howard St Suite 102, Spokane, WA 99201, United States

“Great food and drinks! We had the Telapia and Baja Ceviche and both were to die for. Shannon was spot on with her recommendations and Dom poured 2 great drinks. It was so good we came back for happy hour the next day. You need to check it out!”

3peaks Public House & Taproom
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

24415 NE 10th Ave, Ridgefield, WA 98642, United States

“3Peaks is one of our favorite taprooms. The beer selection is choice and well-managed. Order food from a couple of different carts outside (be aware: some carts close at 4:00). You can also order food at the counter from the adjoining Pacific Northwest Best Seafood-- so good! I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the crab cake sandwich, which is huge! Enough to share for me and my husband. The outside, fenced yard is great for kids and grown-ups, too!”

Cactus Ya Ya
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 10:00 PM

15704 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98684, United States

“I had only one drink and it was good. The food was good, kinda pricey at $10 a taco. Steak taco was seasoned well and very flavorful however meat was chewy and kinda hard to eat. Had a salad with all this and nuts on the salad were stale and old, ruined the salad. Overall it was good, there's some flavor there but with prices it's ok.”

“Love the local pub atmosphere, the fish in the fish and chips were fantastic, top 5, and I've had them all over the world. The food in general was very good, I'd order any of it again.”

Sushi Kanpai
4.4
( 16 reviews ) $$

900 8th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104, United States

“Sushi rolls and teriyaki were some of the worst tasting we've ever had. All 4 rolls were falling apart. Two of the rolls covered in sauce that wasn't good AT ALL. It would have been better without sauce so I could just eat them with soy sauce and wasabi. Super disappointed with this place.”

Go Philly Lakewood
4.2
( 16 reviews ) $$
Open until 09:00 PM

7421 Custer Rd W, Lakewood, WA 98499, United States

“Pleasantly Surprised! Me and the missus drove by this place so many times and finally decided to try it; and my, my, my😲. We were wowed by the price, quality, and quantity of food. We got 3 huge Supreme Cheesesteaks, 12 Jumbo Chicken Wings, and an abundance of onion rings, and fries. My son and I barely finished our sandwiches, and we are big men. I don’t think I’ll eat a Philly Cheesesteak at any other restaurant. I consider myself somewhat of a hot wing aficionado, and have to say that Go Philly has the best in town. Their wings are large, meaty, juicy, and tender. I highly recommend the Southern fried wings, which are deliciously addictive! The onion rings are killer good. They have a crunchy breading that I never tasted before (so tasty), and did I mention they are enormous? I will be visiting Go Philly more often to try the rest of the menu and satisfy my hot wing cravings during the remainder of the football and basketball season. This place will not disappoint!”

Bella Italia

( 10 reviews ) $$
Closed until 04:00 PM

118 E 1st St, Port Angeles, WA 98362, United States

“We were on a Twilight trip so we had to go here of course! The bread was so tasty and warm. The bruschetta was great and garlicky. The mushroom ravioli was super good. It has some sort of peppery white sauce with it. The shrimp scampi was way to spicy and was served with a ton of angel hair pasta. The fettuccine was ok, not over the top. The special was salmon, a bit dry and not much flavor. It is a small place but a cute atmosphere. Service is a bit slow, only two of them and they make their own cocktails. Overall, it was a good dinner priced reasonably.”

Sushi Joa Restaurant
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 08:30 PM

2717 78th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040, United States

“Small dine in Sushi Spot, super cute place, gets busy quick so find a slow time and stop in. The monster roll was SO good. The shrimp Tempura roll was also good. I also tried the chicken teriyaki bowl, but it was not the bowl it came on a plate, with a scoop of rice and was loaded with mostly onions (I don't like onions particularly). It did taste yummy, I ate most of it. Fairly priced, although the shrimp Tempura roll only came with five pieces for $3 less than the larger roll, it's more of a half roll. If your going to get a good sized roll go with the rolls that are $16-18 just so you aren't disappointed with quantity for price. Overall, id definitely stop in again, it was good.”

Dock And Drink
4.2
( 8 reviews )
Open until 09:00 PM

1053 Lake Washington Blvd N, Renton, WA 98056, United States

“This place is a no brainer if you want to enjoy the PNW, with relaxation, a great view and hospitality. It has a great environment. My wife and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the chairs close to the water before a table opened up. There is a covered bar area for those that want more shade and more of a bar feel while still being outside and having a view. With the view and setting the prices and worth it. Plenty of food items and different drinks/cocktails. First two hours of parking is covered and after that it’s close to $10/hr. Only a few minute walk or you can valet real close.”

“Cool atmosphere, The best service I've ever experienced. I got the steak, and fries. It was over salted and really fatty. For $65 I was expecting to be blown away. I make better steaks at home. The fried cauliflower was crazy good. Their fish, and chips are great. I really like the place, but that steak experience was the worst I've ever had anywhere.”

“The food was disappointing BUT our server made up for it. For a place that established itself as a fine dining restaurant, we had a very disappointing experience. The Drinks - 4/5. They were strong, not going to lie but strong to us is a good thing! I had an irish mule and my bf had one of their specials with tequila as a base. Food - we ordered the bread and the clams as appetizers. Bread was thick and soft, but nothing special. Clams were good, we used the bread to also dip in the pesto like base that the clams were resting in. Entrees - Bf ordered the mushroom pasta and I ordered the new york steak and asked for it to be rare. Apparently something happened to my NY Steak so it wasn't able to be delivered the same time as the mushroom pasta (no big deal) but our server was sweet enough to comp the appetizers for us, gave us free desserts, and was apologizing profusely. Totally not her fault and we get it - it happens! We were having a good time anyway in our corner table drinking our cocktails. Mushroom Pasta was just okay - 3/5. The pasta seemed fresh, but it wasn't anything impressing. NY Steak finally came out - was paired with fingerling potatoes and brocollini. Steak was cooked more to medium as opposed to rare, but we were hungry and decided to just eat it. Felt it wasn't seasoned enough as it lacked some flavor between bites. Desserts - I feel bad for writing a review about the dessert since it was offered to us for free. We had the creme brulee and the chocolate pudding. Creme brulee was too sweet for me so I couldn't even finish after 2 bites. And I am a huge dessert person - so if something's too sweet for me, it says a lot. Chocolate Pudding was very solid, which was interesting to us. It was good! we actually boxed the chocolate pudding to go since we were stuffed and we have marshmallows back at our rental so we are planning to toast it up. Although the food was very bland, we did appreciate the restaurant making things right when there was a mistake on their end. I am not sure when Sapor opened, so perhaps they are still finding their own grounds and solidfying it post pandemic? We did like the quiet and dark atmosphere. Their bistro side is very bright and has a more casual feel to it, very different than their dining side.”

Renton Seafood Restaurant

4250-A NE 4th St, Renton, WA 98059, United States

“Multiple friends recommended Renton Seafood Restaurant’s Roasted Duck (aka BBQ Duck) so we had to go try it. The decor of the restaurant is typical of most neighborhood Chinese restaurants but it is bright and well-kept. Menu offers a good balance of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, a good variety of seafood dishes, and some interesting chef’s special. We ordered the Roasted Duck and it did not disappoint. It was SO good! The skin was crispy, and the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. Steamed Oysters with Garlic and Scallions were fresh and tasty. The Sautéed Fish Fillet was a bit salty but still decent. The Stir-Fried Cured Meat with Veggies and Lotus Root was refreshing and the Beef Chow Fun was tasty. Food was served promptly, service was good, and prices were reasonable! A very pleasant experience overall. Will definitely come back for more!”
