The staff is always wonderful and friendly! Recently they did a small remodel so the inside does look a bit different than it used to, but change is the only constant, so I guess that should be expected from time to time. All of their desserts are incredible, but the bread pudding and 2die4 are on another level.”

Even when the answer was No from the wait staff, they checked first and delivered it pleasantly + offered substitution for said item unavailable. Outside is fun with fish, turtles, ducks, and planks to observe/feed from. Large swing chairs and picnic tables. Fun, funky, place! We fed a family of 4 + beer for $43. Can't beat that! Will visit again on our way to Lost Lagoon.”

“Wow! Best fried shrimp I've ever eaten! Stopped by for lunch after a morning at the beach. What a surprise; large, tender, perfectly cooked shrimp coated in garlic sauce and parmesan! They were incredibly flavorful and tasty. The coconut was good too along with the seasoned fries, but it's the garlic parm that has us craving more! Large portions made the price seem reasonable. Easy parking off 61st street. We will def be back!”

“I've visited this place 4x's to get their boiled crawfish. I have thoroughly enjoyed them the first 3x's. However, this past weekend, the crawfish were overcooked and mushy. The flavor wasn't the same either. I bought 5lbs for $70 bucks. I would have given 5⭐️, but this last visit has me giving 3⭐️.”

I got the 2 wing & 2 catfish strips plate with gumbo, fries, & hush puppies. my wife got the veggie plate with okra, hush puppies, greens, and mac & cheese. we shared the cornbread muffins & a large cup of red kool aid. all the food tasted good! it was ready when expected (about 30 mins after we put in a to-go order). the food wasn’t greasy, which is great. they had a great option for vegetarians! 10/10 recommend.”

“I had got the turkey leg with the seafood dressing and shrimp and i was so disappointed! I was super stoked to try it and the dressing was very burnt and salty. I immediately tasted how burnt it was it was like she gave me the burnt bottom of the pan. Honestly that was just not a good business decision to put out food that isn’t near perfect. That was the most expensive menu item they had for $32 and shouldn’t have been served in that state. The shrimp, turkey leg and the sauce was great though the actual dressing was just terrible. My bf got the turkey leg with red beans and rice and it was aesthetically pleasing and did have a good taste but they just needed to have out more sauce because under the first layer was just all white rice no sauce. Overall i think i might come back but just for the turkey leg by itself. We also got the large gumbo and it had a very fishy taste. Mind you i know gumbo is typically made with a seafood stock but the taste was more fishier than I’ve had else where.”

“We loved our dinner here at Rick’s on the Square! I had the red fish tacos and a side salad. Fresh ingredients and great service! My husband enjoyed the salmon! We shared a slice of key lime pie and it was excellent! Who ever manages the music needs an award. Awesome rat pack songs all the way to 70s. Love!”

When I got my order I was disappointed to find out they don’t have actual CATFISH FILLETS it was indeed some other type of fish. I took it back in there and told the lady it’s not catfish and maybe I got the wrong order😕. She said “no, that’s catfish” to my face as if I don’t know what catfish looks, smell & taste like. It’s swai 100% I drove a hour away for Swai I could have just went down the street to JJ’s fish and chicken for that!!”

“This was our first time going here. I was surprised to find out they had more locations around Houston. There is a lot to choose from even the drink menu is long and varied. The appetizer selection is full of great options of fried and sushi options. We decided to get the appetizer sampler that had the fried options with shrimp tempura 🍤 crab Rangoons, fried spring rolls, and fried tofu. It came with two sauces, one sweet and one savory. Everything on the plate was delicious, especially after finding that right combination of sweet or savory. I got the lunch special sushi 🍣 that came with three different sushi options and a soup or salad. I went with the soup, and for sushi, I got the spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado 🥑, and the salmon roll. Sherry Ann went with the Philly roll. It was a lot of food, maybe too much food. I enjoyed the eel and the salmon. The tuna was ok, but the others were far better. Our server Bagus was great checking on us answering all our questions and making sure we had a great experience. This was great service, great food, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated and clean, and they even have a bar if thats your style. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.”

“If you were looking for an upscale dinner experience on Galveston Island I recommend the Saltwater Grill. Each of our dishes was prepared just right and delicious. The fish is definitely a specialty of theirs and that also includes their shrimp and crawfish appetizer. To cap it all off, our waiter, David, was an absolute joy. “Beautiful restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff from the bell hop to the servers. We were served champagne at the door, someone is at the elevator to take us up/down. We reserved a table but still had to wait about 10+ minutes before being seated. Every dish was a grand celebration in my mouth with every bite. The drinks were strong but delicious. “We had a great experience at Good Vibes! They have an awesome drink selection- lots of different cocktails as well as a large selection of beers. I really enjoyed the Beach Chair and the Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Everything we had to eat was delicious! We tried out the pretzel and the guacamole for appetizers, and then I had the signature burger with sweet potato fries. Our server was very attentive and did a wonderful job. Overall, we had a great experience at Good Vibes and will absolutely be back!”
