Land Of Sushi

2412 E Arapahoe Rd, Centennial, CO 80122, United States

“Ten years, I've frequented for the food and service. Not only quality Sushi, but also Sukiyaki and other fun house specialties. I sat in front of the chefs, hoping for quicker service. It took longer, but I was fully entertained. Uni is not always available and market price for a single Sashimi was $13. When such specialties ARE available, they should be served only at their best quality. But in our present pandemic effected world, restaurant supply chains continue suffering delays & shortages, so be forgiving when dining out.”

“Overall a good experience. Staff was very polite and friendly. Our server, Nick, was awesome. He had a great smile and was always there when needed. Cocktails were decent and served promptly. The calamari are some of the best out there. Lightly breaded, not rubbery, and the chili dipping sauce is incredibly good. The gumbo was also excellent. Just spicy enough with lots of sausage. Lobster Mac & cheese was good. I don't recommend the "tots", simply because they are not tots. They are fried mash potatoes. They should advertise and sell them as croquettes, which is what they are. I do like croquettes, but that's not what I ordered or wanted. The seasonal dessert was an apple crumble. It was good, but lacked for crumble, and I felt the ice cream was the best part. I would come back for a special occasion, but it is expensive, so not something I could afford regularly.”

“After a lifetime in the Seattle area, I moved to NV four years ago. I actually like it a lot but I miss the Seattle seafood options. Not only was this as good as the stuff I loved up there, it was better than most of it. I had fish, clams, shrimp, scallops, and a tanker full of clam chowder that I carried around all afternoon and referred to as a #SeattleBigGulp as I sipped from it, which entertained the family I was staying with. It was all fresh, perfectly breaded, seasoned and cooked and I've been craving more since. I even tried to go back for another Seattle BigGulp on Sunday before I flew home but they were closed so I had to drown my sorrows in some pizza and wings instead. I got to chat with Chef Bob and hear about what lead him to Colorado Springs after growing up in the NE and spending some time in Seattle as Red Robin's corporate chef around the time they first started franchising. I ill absolutely be back every time I visit my family in Colorado Springs, which hopefully will be often. My only gripe, and it's a mild one, is I prefer a more simple tarter sauce. Tarter Sauce is the dip of choice for Seattle natives and we put it on everything, including burgers. It is to WA what fry sauce is to UT. This tasted like it was mayo based with dill. i definitely prefer mayo to sour cream based but I like pickle chunks rather than dill and a touch of sweetness. I make my own these days and I can just bring along a little of that if I need to. That's just my subjective taste though and this really was outstanding.”

“Make a reservation!!! This place is ahhhmazing! A must try in the area. You can always get there early or even just go out to the river front bar area for awesome views, live music, drinks, and a small menu. Garlic Mike was grillin some oysters when we got there - Nathan was our server and he was the bomb dot comb. The food was incredible. All good things to say”

“We stopped by for a quick bite and were surprised buy how cheap most the rolls are, after eating here it made more sense for the prices being cheap. Overall the food is OK not great but not bad, the service was quick and friendly with a clean environment. I would recommended this place for a quick bit or lunch not for a special occasion.”

“I ordered General Tso's chicken. What I got was some soft, mushy, dried out greasy battered chicken that tasted sweet. There was no juice/sauce at ALL!!! Eggroll tasted old and dated like it came out of a frozen box. Rice had no flavor. Bellpepper was hard and crunchy. General Tso's chicken is always brown with a brown sauce... Not this junk that was served to me. I threw it in the trash. Do not order from this restaurant. This is not Asian food!!!! This is trash they are throwing together to make a profit.”

Sushi Rama Broomfield/osaka Ramen
4.1
( 8 reviews ) $$

8181 Arista Pl, Broomfield, CO 80021, United States

“Fun concept, but the conveyor belt was pretty bare when we went and very little fresh stuff was coming out. I was also concerned that the a lot of the sushi was on the conveyor belt the entire time we were there and I didn't see any obvious system to ensure that it wasn't left out an unsafe amount of time. Everything tasted fine, so hopefully it won't be an issue. You can fresh stuff, but our waitress disappeared for awhile, and by the time we saw her again I just wanted to go.”
