“This place is simply amazing. It's small shop with a dozen seats at the table and 3 or 4 side tables. I had some reservations about it being a fried food on sticks place. However, they are masters of their craft. The standouts were the whitebait, scallops (really amazing), the shrimp, the prawn fish, shitake, chicken, salmon and the mushy peas - on a stick! And there's a big bowl of delicious salad. Service was great.”

“Want lobster in an elegant environment with impeccable service? Here is the place. We get served in a private room with staff bringing each round of the course at an appropriate time. We came for lunch, and had the most expensive set for two people plus Japanese sake and beer and were out the door for an equivalent of about US$150 total. There’s no way you’re ever going to get something with this high quality experience and delicious food for anything near that in the US these days. There are only counter seats and you can put your luggage under the chair. There was no price displayed, but since it was a luxury item, I ordered without worrying (lol) The ingredients were also fresh and delicious.”

“After choosing this restaurant on an Internet recommendation of it's sake selection and possibility for "All You Can Drink with food for ¥5000", on arrival we were informed that offer was Sundays only; a fact not mentioned in the article recommending the place. However, this is not the fault of the restaurant, and the everyday ¥3000 per head plus ¥100 per serving of Sake was a fair compromise. The food itself was delicious and plentiful and the choice of Sake was interesting (good quality but no Daiginjo) with a Sake from each prefecture, of which two were unavailable at the time, one of which was from nearby Kobe. On reflection we enjoyed the experience, but I would pause before returning without having tried similar offers in Osaka first.”

“My friend took me to New Matsuzaka in GEMS Namba for my birthday lunch. “I've passed by the store several times, and there was always a line before the store opened, and I was especially concerned because the tempura set meal sold out early. I gathered my spirits and visited the store for the first time before opening time, and ordered the tempura set meal for ¥1,200. I was told that it would take 30 to 40 minutes to prepare, so I couldn't order it during my lunch break as an office lady. In addition, two shrimp with heads were used, and although it looked gorgeous, I didn't want to eat it again.”

“We were really excited to try this restaurant since it is vegetable focused. We sat down to find out that more than half of the dinner menu was sold out. We attempted to order and found out even more items were sold out. We settled on the soy milk vegetable curry only to find out that it has bacon in It! How are you a "vegetable garden" restaurant and you put PORK!!!! in your vegetable curry?!?!? They also make what looked like a delicious looking chemical free, egg free, vegetable-based bread, but that was sold out as well. We came to dinner at 8pm and I really don't understand how it's possible that almost the entire dinner menu is gone. We also ordered the avocado and tuna tartare, which showed up as avocado and tuna drenched in tartar sauce (completely different from the image on the menu). Needless to say, we did not eat this and when we explained, in Japanese, they did not understand. How can you not understand the difference between "tartare" and "tartar" but have it on the menu in your restaurant. In any case, please skip this restaurant and go for other vegetable-based options.”

“Tomato seafoods okonomiyaki was delicious. The cabbage are chopped finely. Big prawns n cuttlefish. Normal pork okonomiyaki was good and delicious too. Sauce and mayonnaise are perfect combination. Sausages are yummy. Omelette roll was soft and delicious. We even re-ordered it. Kimchi pork was delicious but not spicy and sour. Chicken yakitori are tender and juicy. Recommend.”

“It's a restaurant where you can drink cheaply and safely until late. Although it has an unusual concept of being a kamaboko specialty store, there are many ways to make it so you can enjoy it without getting bored. Even though we call it kamaboko, it's not the inorganic stuff you buy at the supermarket, but rather the so-called paste. Does it feel like various ingredients are wrapped in paste and fried or steamed? The price is reasonable at 500 to 600 yen per item, but be careful not to order too much as the kamaboko is quite filling. The inside of the store is clean and stylish, and the utensils are clean. The customer service is polite and friendly, and you can enjoy drinking comfortably. If the wine tastes good, then it's full marks lol”
