My scallop BLT was tasty and the Cajun meatloaf was excellent. Too many potato chips but it was late and I love potato chips. Colorful oilcloth on the tables, interesting menu choices, not too busy at 7pm on a Saturday night.”

“Let's say we were very hungry and it was 7 pm. My wife and I ordered Buffalo wings and potato skins. The wings were not even close to being any Buffalo sauce it was more like red dye for color "powder is not sauce." I would have asked for sauce but the waiter never came back until there was one left. Now for the meal. I tried ordering the country fried chicken but NO mashed red potatoes. It takes less than 5 minutes to cook red potatoes and mash. My wife and I could hear the waitress next to us giving a list of things that were out. Its 7:30 and total of 4 people in the restaurant and a slow day "MONDAY" and out of food. I ordered the seafood trio and 1 1/2 scallops is not an abundance of them. There was fishy smelling shrimp and maybe a half piece of tilapia filet. The grilled lemon was not there nor the butter. The waiter was kind but seemed to be pushy and brought the check. He then asked if we were going to want dessert. I'm guessing not much for dessert or he was looking to leave. So check it was, $58.00 for food that definitely wasn't worthy of sitting down for and a $15.00 tip for someone just looking to leave. If you dont want the table give it to another person working who wants it. The place had several people working at this time 7:30ish but everyone that walked by the filth on the floor made no attempt to even clean it up. But they did seat two people at the table. I have 25 years experience in the restaurant business started at the dishwasher and was running a restaurant by my 30's. I'm not exactly sure if this issue is employees, management or owners but it definitely needs to be addressed.”

“Six of us arrived around 4:45 as walk- ins with no reservations. We were seated within a few minutes, which we really appreciated. I'm guessing the young hostess was having a bad day since she was obviously a bit annoyed and impatient with us deciding on her offer to sit inside or out on the deck in the sun. Our decision took about 20 seconds, but hey, it was getting the preferences from 6 people. Anyway, we had a wonderful young waitress who took excellent care of us in our visit. The food was wonderful. We all ordered something different, and everyone was delighted with their choice. The prices were moderate considering the location on the water, and it was certainly worth it for the high quality of the dishes served. Great atmosphere for couples and families with well-mannered kids. Handicapped parking is available as well as free on-site parking. “I am a pub kind of guy! And this one did not disappoint! We came in for dinner after a long day of lounging on a rainy day in December. The pub is located in the basement of the Sudsbury Inn. The pub was crowded, but the atmosphere was laid-back and pretty chill. We were greeted and sat after about 5 minutes. Big wood tables, a large bar in the middle of the space, and a stage and dance floor. We all got drinks. I especially loved the Pabst Blue Ribbon $2.50 draft special! Everyone of the 5 of us enjoyed their meals. We had the baked Haddock (2 orders). Nicely done and served with rice and veggies. (We had one made gluten free without the bread crumbs.) I had the Carnivore pizza. I have to say, I am from NY and a bit of a pizza snob, but the pizza was surprisingly good. The small pie was more than enough for me and to share. Crust was great, perfectly cooked and topped with ham, pepperoni and sausage. We also had the veggie burrito (which was huge and loaded with cheese on the outside!). We added grilled chicken. My son had the haddock sandwich, which he loved and the sweet potato fries, which were excellent. I would have liked a maple dip. The service was excellent and friendly. A live musician played a couple of sets while we were there and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, food and atmosphere of the pub. This may become our go to place when we come back!”

“We were deeply disappointed with our order. We ordered takeaway at the bar on Saturday. I asked the friendly woman who took our order if the Pad Pak could be made vegan. She assured us it could. What she did NOT tell us, is that this would be accomplished by removing all sauce from the order. When we returned home, we opened our order and saw that it was merely three bland ingredients: plain rice, steamed kale, and cubes of unseasoned tofu. Two days later, I am still shaking my head that a restaurant would do this. Given that there are many entirely thai vegan restaurants around the world, it should not be difficult for this one to come up with some form of sauce or seasoning for its "vegan" version of dishes. If they can't be bothered to do so, they should politely decline requests for a vegan version of a dish. To charge us $50 for two servings of what a 10 year old might have created was insulting.”

“I was a bit concerned about some of the negative reviews I had been seeing, but I have no idea what they were talking about. We had a short wait on a Saturday at 5:00. We were seated by a friendly hostess/waitress. Our server was Charity, who was great. Our drink orders were taken and delivered in record time. Our food came out at good intervals. Everything was served at proper temperatures. All our food was incredibly delicious. The seafood chowder was so good, with scallops, shrimp, pieces of fish, and nicely sized chunks of potatoes. Our salads were crisp and fresh. The bread with whipped butter was very nice. We each got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and gravy. My Queen cut was just a bit thinner than the King. The meat was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and melt in the mouth tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the perfect accompaniment. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely two thumbs up 👍”

“We enjoyed dinner here on a Monday evening. Lots of restaurants are closed on Mondays so we were pleased to find this spot. I had the Caesar salad and the calamari. The salad was good, the calamari was not crunchy or hot, I would skip this. My Mom had the shrimp (fried) which were good, not over cooked. We shared carrot cake and blueberry pie, they were both excellent. Our server was Analiese, she was friendly and reasonably attentive. We were seated quickly in the bar area at a high top table. The lighting was nice and the music wasn’t too loud which I so appreciate.”

“I share the sub par experience of other reviewers for this location. Store is managed poorly. I've had more than onebad experience at Biddeford. For example, I called in an order & they got it wrong even tho they were almost empty! Discovered the missing items so called them on the way back home to advise of the mistake but the Guy on the phone was extremely rude and the female manager wasn't any better when she got on the phone. NO offer of compromise and no understanding or kindness towards the customer. We are done with the Biddeford store. I'll travel to the Scarborough store if I want P Pie pizza. It has ALWAYS been consistently excellent there. The Biddeford store is an EPIC FAIL!!!”
