Bud Issus Hi
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

349 Decatur St. SE, Atlanta, GA 30312, United States

“Average sushi place. Sushi rolls were ok (had the LOL) and spicy chicken karaage was not spicy at all and a bit bland. The atmosphere inside is a bit … depressing. Prices are a bit too high was this experience.”

Continental Seafood
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:00 AM

2565 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW #1, Atlanta, GA 30318, United States

“The food here is mediocre. I don’t know how they have so many reviews saying the food is great. If you’re use to Juicy Crab and the places alike you’re going to be DISAPPOINTED when you spend the money on this food. The best party of my seafood platter was the broccoli 😐 enough said. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. Trust me on this one!! The quality was so poor you could probably make better seafood at home. The only way I can see someone saying this place is good is if they’ve never had good seafood. I’m trying to warn you like I wish I would’ve been warned. DON’T DO IT.”

Sushi Hayakawa
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 PM

1055 Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318, United States

“Even better than anticipated. There are only 8 seats at the bar right in front of Chef Hayakawa. We loved the interaction with Chef and his personable approach. I thought he might just talk about the food but he invited all types of questions on his history and approach. While I don’t think he cares that much (cause I asked) let’s hope he gets at least one Michelin star simply because it’s deserved (not that it matters cause it won’t change how amazing this place is).”

The Spot Sushi Bar (former Sushi Uchi)
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:30 AM

8420 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022, United States

“Small sushi shop located shortly after you make it into Alpharetta from Peachtree Corners. Very unassuming spot in the corner that I didn't expect. The place is really small inside but really the perfect size for a nice sushi place. However, the time I went made it feel like one group could easily ruin this place. Despite that, the workers did a great job dealing with a really unruly group. Despite them taking longer than normal, they did a great job getting stuff out and tending to everyone in the restaurant, which was me and the unruly group. Now, the food itself was really good, and I love the diverse platting of the dishes. Definitely be prepared to spend some money if you like great sushi cuz they have some great variety, but they have affordable rolls, too so it's good either way. They're definitely worth going to again. Give them a try. They're great!”

Fishmonger
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$
Closed until 11:00 AM

674 North Highland Avenue Northeast Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30306, United States

“We stopped by Fishmonger for lunch. Amazing fish tacos and hot fish sandwich. The fish tacos were light but full of flavor. For the hot fish sandwich, the bun was perfect and the fish was spicy and crunchy. Great if you love catfish. Would have liked some fries on the side for the price ($17). Fun atmosphere outside on a nice day. 100% recommend!”

Dos Bocas

( 8 reviews )

275 Baker St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313, United States

“The food was very unimpressive. The Chips and Salsa were good but our entrees were very lackluster. Drinks were great and service was good. Great view. Menu needs variety and the taste could be improved.”

Area 4 Restaurant
3.8
( 16 reviews ) $$

3226 Greenbriar Pkwy SW, Atlanta, GA 30331, United States

“What a terrible experience. My family and I went to Sunday brunch. The website and Google say they are open at noon. It was raining outside, and people were turned away and told they open at 12:30. Several of us were standing outside in the rain waiting. The host comes out with a visible firearm on her waist and tells us they won't open until 12:45 or so. I asked if we could wait in the lobby just to get out of the rain, and she said no. There were also kids waiting in the rain. At 12:50, the security guard let's us come in the lobby, but they still were not open. At 1 p.m., we were seated. The food was cold and no one at my party was satisfied. The bottomless mimosas are mainly juicy, and they were warm. This is a place for young adults or college students. The floors were slippery and dirty, and the bathrooms were even worse. I really hope this place shuts down. I can understand why the owner is unavailable to email because her box would be full.”

Alicia Oyster Bar
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 04:00 PM

931 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, United States

“Decent little place by Trader Joe’s. We came for the happy hour deal, we got some drinks and oysters. Good sized and tasty oysters, the drinks were ok. When we arrived the bar was a bit hectic and had to wait for my wine glass to cool off before getting the drink. My friend got his beer served with a whiskey glass. Oysters were $1.5 each during happy hour 4-6pm so that’s definitely worth it.”

Steak Market
3.8
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 05:00 AM

793 Juniper St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, United States

“If there is anything you want to try here other than the Steak they are well known to perfect, it’s the barbecue baked oysters - I mean, there are oysters and there are oysters. I’ve never had one so good. The service is very professional with ambient lighting - you’ll know they mean food business. Oh! How can I forget the garlic fries - uhn, uhn, uhn! It’s so tender and crispy at the same time.”
