“I brought a group of friends here to enjoy some good food and vibes, and like always, they did not disappoint. The new Tom Yum sauce is a great addition to their selection of seafood sauces. The new appetizer platter and Thai wings were perfect for sharing and to get the table going while waiting for the main course. Music, drinks, and service are top notch! Niko, the manager made sure we have a good time. Thank you for always rolling out the red carpet whenever I come by. Arguably one of the best Shaking Crab branches!”

“I stopped in New Years Eve day, It was my first time the, coworkers rave about them. Now I will do the same. The owners were very nice and helpful with great food! Ok now the food, we ordered haddock and crab cakes. The crab cakes are made in house and both haddock and crab cakes were fresh fried perfectly when ordered, both were amazing! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the good. All that being said, we will definitely be back for more!”

“Went for dinner on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Every seat at the 10-seat sushi counter was taken. It’s a minimalistic space with four employees- the hostess, the waitress, the sushi chef and his helper. The service was fantastic and we were greeted warmly with big smiles. The chef here is a true professional and it’s a one man show similar to omakase restaurants in Japan. I loved the omakase here because even though it was pricey ($200 for 12 courses), the sushi truly spoke for itself. Unlike other omakase spots in NYC, that puts all sorts of toppings and frills onto each piece (like wagyu on top of toro on top of caviar and gold flakes), each and every piece here spoke for itself. There was no need to add all these bells and whistles. Very fresh, very high quality. The RICE was incredibly seasoned, and just perfect sushi rice, and the size of each piece shows why this place is true “omakase”. Especially how they instruct you to enjoy the sushi. You can tell this is a classic and it was very well worth the visit!!!”

155 W 51st St, New York, NY 10019, United States

“I had high expectations for this restaurant. Pros: The appetizers were very tasty, my favourite was the complimentary soup. The portions were just right. I liked that you have different options for your dinner. It was kinda like a set menu but you have the freedom to choose different dishes for your meal. The flavours were good for some of the dishes, I felt like they were trying to play with different cuisines. It was not only French but a little bit of Asian, for example the shrimps with coconut sauce. A bit of Caribbean with the fruits added to the dessert. Cons: Although the service was good I felt rushed because you have to decide all your options at the beginning of your meal with the little time provided. They served bread but it’s cold. Some of the dishes tasted good but it wasn’t like wow either. Some of the desserts were an interesting take on Asian styled desserts. But the balance of sweet and sour was off as the dessert was sour. The linen on the table is old and worn out. It was not comfortable to touch nor look at as there were lint all over the middle of the table. Being a high end restaurant, we were expecting a lot more for attention to details.”
