“A traditional Spanish-style shoe store selling mainly espadrilles and avarcas. Such a quaint little shop for a great souvenir if you’re visiting Madrid! So reasonable priced for such a durable and comfortable shoe! If you look outside the store, near the exit door, there is a plaque in the sidewalk stating that this storefront has existed there and been the same business for at least 100 years! I feel like that speak to quality.”

“A historic espadrilles shop near Plaza Mayor in Madrid. I loved shopping there with the thought that the owners are creating these shoes for 5 generations already. It was quite busy but there was no long queue. It’s best to take pictures outside of the styles you like and then you just show what you want to try on and what size. I got the impression that the staff does not speak English so I had to get by with the little Spanish I know.”
