“i grew up in this store from the day it’s doors opened. i had such amazing experiences every time i went and i hate to see it close. i even dreamed to work here one day. i used to go almost every week because my brother played hockey at memorial. some employees knew me by name. i would watch the employees open and close the store through the windows at my brothers hockey practices when it wasn’t open. i bought so many of my dolls here, i had my birthday here, and went every January first to get the girl of the year. i have nothing but love and nostalgia for this place. it had so many loyal customers like me and closing it due to mall renovations really saddens me. i hope the company reconsiders but in the meantime, thank you so much for the 10 amazing years, it made my childhood the best it could’ve ever been.”

“I am an adult beginner learning to play cello and outgrew my cheap one. At my instructor's recommendation, I came to Dallas Strings to rent a better one until I could save up to buy new. The price was extremely reasonable considering the quality of the rental instrument and bow, as well as the free maintenance offered at their store. I broke a string a few days after signing my rental contract and was worried they would look down on me. Instead the gentleman at the front desk was polite, didn't judge me, and replaced the missing string in minutes. Cant recommend this place enough.”

Great knowledgeable staff who pay attention and actually know about the products they are selling. They also have a great website and instagram account. They now stock Resistol and Hyer cowboy boots as well as there traditional stock of good Texan boots including R Watson, Anderson Bean, Olathe and HorsePower. Definitely worth stopping in for boots. As well as hats.”
