“I have been a member for many years and support the idea of a community of members. I was very disappointed today in the lack of such community, lack of feeling welcomed, and being treated as if I was trying to return an object to Walmart and wanting my money back. Nothing was further than the truth. I love the warm down coat I bought and I knew exactly when I bought it at that location. They assumed I wanted a refund. I love the down coat - that was the first thing I said! I wanted the zipper repaired. They showed no interest in the item and said no repairs. Luckily I bought a Patagonia coat and they suggested contacting that company. They directed me to a DC store but I found a Patagonia Store not far in Old Town Alexandria. I was going to look around more in the REI store for other items to purchase today but the lack of recognition as a member and lack of true welcome made me rethink.”

“I normally love this store. But hubby ordered an item for me to just pick up for a quick trip in to town. They gave me the wrong battery so he had to return -30miles one way- to find out they didn't have the right one. Lesson- I should have check the UPC to make certain before I left the store. They were nice about the return and he was nice about my error.”

“My daughter and I came to get her a plain black pair of Crocs, but they wanted 59.99! We just came from the mall & I thought $39 was a lot at Journeys, but journey's had a cute lil chain on them, at least. Their Sketchers were $54 to $89.99! Men's sketchers were $90! They had several sandal options, at full price still- in November. But didn't have many sneakers that were in style. They tend to have the same exact styles every single year. Does their buyer get out in public to actually look at what people/teens are currently wearing?! I would do that for them lol I imagine if you were getting shoes for your family the BOGO option would be the way to go, but I have to wonder if they have higher prices on a single pair to compensate for the BOGO deals they run. The employees left us alone, which I like since you can get your own shoes.”

“May I say that this is a place of useless stuff, nothing that I needed. Now, don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful place to go, and just walk around and be amazed at how much stuff that they sell. If this had been that purpose for me, then I would have been happy, but it was not that situation for me. All I needed was a good stylish steel toe boot, and first of all, the selection was Slim Pickens. Then what they did have in stock looked like I was headed to the rodeo cowboy boot look ,and may I say I don't rock those at all. After going up to an associate and talking to her and finding out what they didn't have, I left there upset that I wasted my time coming to this place.”

“Great Boot Barn location. It was so organized inside and it was super appealing to me. A lot of it was even color coordinated. It is still brand new, had large fitting rooms, the employees were very nice and helpful, they had a wide selection of everything you can think of for men, women, and kids. Not just western clothing either. They have sportswear for women also. The jewelry is so pretty!”

“I go to this shop every 2 months but always end up not buying anything because of they are always sold out on Men’s Small size. Shipping cost is $17.50 if you spend $149.99 or less. Also, they don’t offer store pick up for online order or store return. Even I like this shop, this makes me to order from Adidas or Nike direct just because they offer cheaper shipping cost and you need to spend less.”
