“This was our first time at a dispensary to celebrate my husband's birthday. The experience was a little confusing at first understanding how the dispensaries in DC worked, but the guy who worked there was really kind and patient with us and even gifted us a bonus gift because it was my husbands birthday! Literally the only reason I didn't give a full 5 star review is because my husband has to use a cane to get around and stairs can be very difficult for him and we didn't see a handicap accessible way to get up to the dispensary.”

“Large store, backed by huge online business, where you can find new and used equipment and clothes/footwear - tried and tested. Unlike other retailers, staff are also tried and tested and my experience is that you often learn things after coming here from people that have lived the adventure you are seeking. Formal learning in the way of classes and actual tours are also a thing. REI stands behind their merch with a generous return policy; furthermore, they work with their customers - I have heard multiple hikers now getting mail dropped items while they were on long distance trails. They also have a nice coffee shop and clean bathrooms. This is the real deal!”

“Had a genuinely wonderful experience working with Potter Violins. Jim Kelly was extremely helpful, taking care to select instruments after we discussed my needs, goals, and preferences. He expertly demonstrated them to narrow down final candidates for trial, and was great with communication during the process, answering my questions quickly and completely, and always with the good humor and kindness of a friend. A lot of shops play games, but I felt like everything was exceptionally transparent and up front during the entire process. I couldn’t recommend Potter Violins and Jim more highly. I love the viola they helped me find; it could have been a years long process but was made quick and easy with their tremendous connections, inventory, and people.”

“August 23, 2023 I needed last minute items for my son's dorm. I entwred this Ross and was greeted by a kind gentleman that I asked to direct me to items I sought. I purchased two sets of Twin XL sheets, shower curtain, liner, and hooks. A bathroom rug and throw rug. There was a great selection, reasonable prices and good service. I recommend this location for shoping.”

“Apple library was quite something where you can find all Apple products. This place is right next to many lovely hotels. There is no library by the way because it has moved down the street now the library is known as the Martin Luther King Jr. library which is about five minutes walk. The staff at the Apple library were very supportive, informative and ready to help you at any time.”

“We stayed at an Airbnb close by and this was truly a hidden gem! We went here for a prepared meal and snacks and we ended up visiting every day. They had so many treats from sweets to take home meals we really loved this place! Highly recommend!”

“I have been shopping at this thrift store for years - I do like it - sometimes they have a nice selection sometimes they don’t. I’ve purchased and donated many things from this store through out the years. The two biggest cons about this store though is that the lines are long and slow and also their fitting rooms close a few hours early before the store closes. Very inconvenient for shoppers especially for people who work late. This is a huge turn off! They have small parking lot out front.”
