“I’ve only ever purchased from here a few times as I don’t live in anchorage but while I’d be in town this was always the easiest place for me to stop at but each time the quality was terrible. With their recent event involving a male CEO at cannabaska (a position he obviously has no business being in) treating another industry worker in such an unprofessional manner and trying to put fear into them at their place of work by yelling and puffing up at them has sealed the deal for me that I will never be returning here to shop.”

“This is one of my main go to for shopping. It is a little out of the way for me but still worth it for the prices. Like 70%-80% of the item are cheaper than other stores. I would say it is mostly produce that costs more. Overall cheaper. Avoid the busy times if you can. And dont forget to tip your bagger, they work for tips.”

“I bought a pair of Diadora pickleball shoes less than a year ago. These are shoes that are not used on a regular basis, so it was surprising, and disappointing, when there was a seam opening up. Skinny Raven manager says they will only support the shoes for 45 days and suggested I go to the manufacturer. I went to the manufacturer and they will warranty the shoes for TWO YEARS, but only if you buy them online. So, beware, best to try on the shoes at Skinny Raven and then buy them online if you want the warranty.”

“I purchased expensive steak and a bag of onions 2 days ago. They’re both unopened and I had the receipt and they would not allow me to return them because they would lose money on it.. I was told it was my problem, not the stores problem. Well instead of the store taking a loss on one purchase, they lost 3 customers and possibly more instead considering I have extended family of 15 that lives in Palmer. I kept these items refrigerated, cold to the touch and completely unopened and as I said I did not even have them for a full 48hrs. I just know most stores have a better return policy than this and take it as a loss in order to provide customer service. Times are tight right now on groceries & gas, so I recommend going somewhere worth all that extra money you’re spending who will value just how much of it you’re giving up. My family and I live 3 minutes from carrs so we frequent here a lot but looks like we’ll be shopping at fred Meyer as they’re prices are no longer even that competitive and Fred Meyer has better selection and better customer service.”
