“I used to love this store, but not anymore. Not sure what's happened over the past few months. Shelves not stocked as they used to be and often queues at the tills. On several occasions I have paid for feed at the tills, go to collect at the warehouse to be told it is out of stock. Their walkie talkie system between tills and warehouse often don't work. Even had the wrong feed bags loaded into my car - Can they read the collection note? All a faff to get refunds and swap - especially if you have to drive back! The odd mistake yes, but it is happening far too often. Seems a lot of staff wandering aimlessly about who are happy to help, but don't look constructive. Perhaps some could make sure that all goods have price tags or man the customer service desk? Today I couldn't buy animal medicines at the counter as they did not have qualified staff to serve and won't have till Monday. So I've bought them cheaper on line. In my opinion just not good enough! It used to be a good store - what has happened?”

“This is a 4 star review of the cafe. Visited again today and the service was very good, more importantly the cappuccinos were very good. Well made and good coffee used. Not the cheap, harsh-burnt flavour in many outlets that don’t specialise in coffee predominately. I’ve yet to eat here so only 4 stars atm. Could easily be a 5. Lots of room for patrons and close to the toilets on the same floor. Three different team members engaged today and all were very pleasant. Was offered a loyalty option by way of a qr code but didn’t take the option today. I have the app so it may be an option if I was to visit regularly. Very much recommended and will try to eat next time.”

“I popped in here to get a few treats for Christmas. There's a lovely selection of fresh vegetables, a deli counter and fresh meat. Lots of local produce including cheese, snacks and chocolate and quirky little gifts. Really nice cafe, great coffee. If you're a vintage comic enthusiast be sure to visit the toilet!! Really glad I discovered it”

“I have been here before and it wasnt great then, it does get busy times but today was not good. 30 to 40% of the tables had left overs on them, tables not wiped or the seats. To be honest it was disappointing and disgusting. There was two younger ladies on the till and coffee moaning about the older one serving food and making a mess. As soon as the older one finished serving food she was out clearing tables while the other two chatted. Hygiene sprang to mind serving food and cleaning tables but fair play to the older woman, she worked her backside off. The toilets were absolutely awful, the stank and the sink was disgusting with dirt and hair in them. The notice board for cleaners was unmarked with a comment to say speak to staff if dirty, really. Shame because that used to be a nice place. In my mind let the older woman run it.”
