“So happy I found this place. I had just arrived in Pampa for the night traveling through in my RV and my toilet line busted. No repair shops in the area and was heading to Amarillo anyway. Now sooner than later. Called Coolhorse and they were able to get me in right away all fixed up and even better with a separate shut off valve to the toilet. Now I won't be going without water should it ever happen again. Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding. I very much appreciate everything. Highly recommend.”

“If I could rate lower I would. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Selected this company as my prime source for pet food supply. Up until 9/22, it would have remained this way. On 9/22 at 9:43 AM, I approached the counter with a bag of cat food (Purina Pro Plan). For the past 5 years, I have been able to use my membership under Purina to have discounts at Tractor supply, a supplier of Purina products. I’m able to use this since my wife is a veterinarian student and former veterinary technician (they fix your pets, so the industry gives back to its experts. Makes sense.) Using this method every couple of weeks for the past 5 years to feed our pets, I have never run into the issue I had at the Canyon Rd Tractor Supply with Manager Steve and his sidekick (didn’t catch his name), nor have I dealt with the amount of unprofessional attitude, condension, and disrespect as I did that day. With a bag of cat food, I pulled out my logged in membership account and presented it as always ready to pay. Steve said “well you’ve never done this with me” implying he’s already set out to be a hardass and make life difficult. He continues to express that he knows everything about the company and all the policies and this is not part of it. As any regular customer does, they press on the matter with “please double check” and “I was just here doing this 2 weeks ago”. He continues to oppose me on this subject. I literally do this 1 or twice a month, and again, have done so for the latter 5 years! He says, “we’re here to make money, how am I supposed to do this?” I’m just a loyal customer ready to make the payment. After that I said “Really? Even though I do this every other week? If you wanted to make money, you just failed your company and your customer. You don’t get a sale from me anymore.” I plopped the bag on his counter for him to restock and left. You, sir, have bad customer skills and should not be in a management position - coming from a manager himself. P.S. I left, went to Pet Supplies Plus (who has a fully stocked shelf - unlike tractor supply) and got exactly what I needed for my hungry pets at the discount I am supposed to get. “I come in once a year or so to browse but don't normally buy anything here. They keep a whole lot of items in stock. Certainly more than any other store of this kind that I'm aware of. They also have a gift registry program that you can sign up for. The only real downfall is the prices. Seems to me a lot of things can be picked up in town for 20% less or more if you shop around.”

“I am in love with the new Natural Grocers location in Amarillo! It has been a long time coming. The street side sign proclaims “Organic Produce,” and this is the best part, hands down. While other Amarillo grocers have nominal organic produce, Natural Grocers nails it. Even more, their produce selection is better than everyone else even without the organics, because of the emphasis on the unusual. Think pomegranates, figs, persimmons, celery root, turmeric root, every color of potatoes and carrots imaginable, heirloom tomatoes, and more. There’s much more than that, of course, with a greatly expanded frozen foods section, as well as packaged goods. Promo deals on selected items ($4.99 for a 12-ounce bag of Nicaraguan whole-bean coffee?!?!) are better than any mainstream grocer. To be fair, eating organic comes typically comes with a price, but their prices are fair for what you get. Hell, someone should be paying us to eat all those chemical-laced, GMO creations of Big Food. All told, Amarillo finally has the healthy grocery alternative we have long needed. The previous store was just too small to get the job done adequately, but with the new location on 58th, I know I will be coming back soon.”

“NEVER GO HERE! Some of the worst customer service I have ever experience! The older lady “assistant store manager” was incredibly rude! All I needed was some simple assistance with a purchase and she just seem like she didn’t care and gave a lot of attitude. Had a family member have the same problem days later with the same lady. Horrible service.”

“This place is a rip off . The owner showed me a boot on discount at $119 when I went to buy he charged $128+ 100 from a boot that I took back he keeps the sales tax on that one at 108$when the boot was only $99 and it was supposed to be a return so I wound up paying 236$ on a boot a different boot I picked that he had on sale. And I did tell him the boot was $119 he removed the tag Saying it was not asking me to show him the tag But he already removed it.”
