“As a local supermarket it used to be my favourite place for doing groceries until recently when the quality of food dropped, especially with the seafood and the poultries . This week (20/12/23) I bought a whole duck for Christmas and upon coming home, I discovered the duck went off despite the expiry date (use before 22/12/23). Not only it has already started to turn into a light green colour, but it terribly stank. I returned it to the store and a customer service person was also was shocked with the disgusting smell coming from the small cut of the duck's package. Very disappointing! It could actually cause poisoning people selling such product, which should not be on the shelves!”

“Check your prices especially for Friday/weekend specials! They often claim that their product (in this case avocados) are ‘different’ from the ones advertised. It was a waste of time when we sought the manager/Deepika’s assistance. Her attitude was patronizing & firmly maintained that their avocados were not the ones advertised. In some past incidents they would also claim that the IGA advertisement did not include their store! If that was true then watch out as IGA ads are misleading and prices are not genuine!”

“Leaving a review as I am genuinely frustrated. Got upsold into buying expensive frames as the staff member claimed I’d get reimbursed after paying a deposit (which was not true). I made it known I couldn’t afford $550 on the spot, which was ignored by the staff member to ensure I paid. I called to ask for a refund later that afternoon, and received an apology from a different employee- claiming the girl who served me was new and made the process more confusing than it had to be. I went back the next day for a refund, was sent away, and told to come back when the manager was in. I go back two days later, and finally get my refund processed. 3 weeks on, my private heath had not received the refund from OPSM. I proceed to call OPSM, in which the staff member tells me they had ‘forgotten’ to process it?? Still waiting to receive the $250 rebate from my health insurance and am having to go through my days without vision. Beyond frustrating experience and I advise people to stay away.”
