“After my nearby ShopRite closed (Autumn 2022), I have shopped at 3 different locations, depending on my itinerary. I like the Shop Rite in Southbury the best of all 3! It's clean, has a good hot buffet bar & hot grinders, good selection of cheeses, bakery products, and pre-packaged food. Sale items are in stock, even late in the week. And the cashiers have been friendly each and every time. I don't buy fish, meat or poultry, so I haven't had any of the unfortunate experiences some other reviewers have. For the items I purchase, I prefer this Shop Rite location for its cleanliness and selection.”

“Driven by so many times and was never able to stop. This morning I knew I had to and I finally did and I am so pleased I did!!! I love this place. It has such great energy! The book section is really eclectic and she has such a wide selection. The place is very cozy and there is a lot of places to sit. The coffee bar is adorable in the back. Lots of different choices and the baked goods are amazing! I had a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie ❤️🍪😃 There is a lot of parking in the back and a rear entrance. If you have not been by, stop by and support. If you have, then what are you waiting for?”

“I was passing by the stand this morning and spotted the Monarch Butterfly sign so I turned around and went back. Unfortunately they were closed today but there were some employees unloading a truck. I explained why i stopped and the very nice lady let me go ahead and take pictures. To me I just discovered a hidden gem. Absolutely will return when they are open. The woman I spoke with could not have been nicer and even offered that when open the people on duty are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be back!”
