“Really cool place if you're into vintage 50s 60s and 70s stuff. I swear we are the coolest generation, had the best bands that wrote stories wrapped around music, had the cool muscle cars, played outside in the neighborhood till dark, and no cell phones or Internet. Took some pictures at the shop that don't really do the place justice, but check their website and I recommend a visit.”

“Hard to believe the other reviews were pretty good. I used to shop this location with no issues. Visited recently and all but one employee I came in contact with was rude and had a bad attitude. I asked for assistance to get meat that was advertised and wasn’t out. I must have been bothering the lady by the meat counter as she was writing in a little notebook and looking at her phone. She ended up giving me the wrong item and then told another employee at the checkout that I gave her the wrong item even though I pointed it out in the ad. The self check out kept malfunctioning and was dirty. The man in the front informed that I was scanning incorrectly. I will stick to my regular store. This location hires trash with piss poor attitudes.”

“Very helpful staff, I’d just just bought a used Ferris mower off Facebook marketplace and wasn’t sure what model it was, they told me where to look for the numbers and said to call them and they would look it up, I did and they looked it up and told me what model it was. Very nice group of guys!”

“I know this is a generally well-liked shop and I feel badly about leaving a poor review, but this is our experience… We have been coming to the Farmer’s Rail for well over a year and we love that it’s a local place that offers high quality foods! Plus, the cookies with buttercream frosting? Delicious! We had no issues with our purchases the first few times, but lately, it seems we consistently end up with upset stomachs after eating Farmer’s Rail salmon. I would say out of the last 5 times we’ve eaten it, we’ve regretted it 4. We’re very disappointed considering the cost of products sold here and the shop’s stellar reputation.”

“Can't say enough about the staff and the quality of the food that we received when we contacted Al's about some catering. In the midst of planning for our mother's funeral we decided to host the post-mass get together at my sister's and found many restaurants in the area not be able to assist. From the moment we called Al's they were understanding and didn't make us feel like we were asking them to move mountains to take care of our request. The food quality was "par excellence" as we dined on the the stuffed cabbage rolls, sausage and peppers and the cabbage and dumplings. More than ample servings and again, just fantastic. Thanks to Dennis & Co. for making the whole process easy and the food enjoyable.”

“I'm not sure why, but this is consistently the slowest Giant Eagle I have ever been to. Even with 6 lanes open and visiting during weekday workday hours, the lines to check out have been 6-8 customers long. Otherwise the store itself is exactly what you'd expect and need.”
