Via del Mortaro, 24, 00187 Roma RM, Italy
“This church was rebuilt following reports of a miracle. Legend said On the night of 26 September 1256, the well overflowed. A picture of Our Lady was floating on the waters… today in the chapel (the first on the right of the current church) there is still the well of the miracle. So don’t forget to drink some holy water.”
Via della Resistenza, 30, 10050 Forno di Coazze TO, Italy
“It's a religious place to be .”
Piazza Erbe, 46100 Mantova MN, Italy
“Absolutely breathtaking piece - a must visit in Mantova. It has a special atmosphere, and the pictures don't really do it justice. Free entry. It's really small, so you only need like ten minutes to take it in properly.”
Via Vescovado, 81100 Caserta Vecchia CE, Italy
“Totally comercial, shame, beautiful views, loads of history”
Piazza Umberto I, 4, 83027 Mugnano del Cardinale AV, Italy
“I'm not Catholic. I have no religion. But, in my opinion, Catholic churches are very beautiful, especially their beautiful things into the church.”
Piazza Chiesa Nuova, 7, 06081 Assisi PG, Italy
“This church is one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever visited. While staying in Assisi with friends for a week, I was able to sit alone in this beautiful place to study and admire all of the breathtaking frescoes. They are truly magnificent. Thinking of the great saint who once had lived in this place and had walked the same roads I just did was a moment I cherish.”
Via Conciliazione, 10, 24011 Almè BG, Italy
“A well structured complex, with spaces for all ages and recreational and sporting activities. From the internal classrooms, the refreshment bar, outdoor tables to football pitches, basketball courts, children's games, and the large Betania Hall which can host different types of events.”
Salizada San Stae, 1982, 30135 Venezia VE, Italy
“This Baroque church is dedicated to Eustace who according to legend lived in the 2nd century and refused to worship pagan gods. Convicted to be burnt alive inside a brazen bull (a torture device: a convict would be placed inside a metall bull held above a fire untill steamed to death). A rather bloody story, but very popular during the late Middle Ages when this 11th century church was founded. The spectacular Baroque facade facing the Grand Canal dates from 1709. Not only the outside, but the interior as well is richly decorated with sculptures. The craftmanship with which they were made is outstanding. I found the painting work by leading artists from the early 1700s less appealing than the three-dimensional sculptures.”
Via per Capoiale, SS693, 71010 Cagnano Varano FG, Italy
“So authentic that it leaves you actually feeling that you were living in those times.”
Via S. Gennaro Ad Antignano, 80129 Napoli NA, Italy
“Looked quite old from the outside. Alright but not great. One of several churches named after the patron saint of Napoli, Sain Gennaro.”
Campo S. Giobbe, 30121, 30121 Venezia VE, Italy
“Wooow top places”
