Ghorakhal, Uttarakhand 263156, India

“Ghorakhal Golu Devta is also known as Ghanti wala Mandir or The god of justice or The Temple of Wishes. The temple is beautifully situated on the top of Ghorakhal Hill near Sainik School, Ghorakhal. This temple is located about 15 km from the Mall, Nainital. The entry to the temple is free and one has to climb stairs (moderate) to reach the temple. The temple is decorated with thousands of bells and prayers written on plain papers, legal bond papers, beautiful colourful sheets, job application forms. At this place, the devotees not only come with prayers but with physical piece of paper on which wishes are written by the worshipers. On completion of wishes worshipers tie bells in the temple. Highly recommended visiting this place if visiting Nainital or Bhimtal.”

( 8 reviews )

P3P8+CGX, Kedarnath, Uttarakhand 246445, India

“Adi sankaracharya was a Hindu monk and a myth and a mistry man, and perhaps undescribable by any adjective. This yogipurus renovated Hinduism from derailed Buddhism within his ultra short life span.Due to his intellect, knowledge, dedication and activities he can only be described as a "brahmapurush". He took his last breath at Kedarnath the age of 32yr. Guruvandana and vairagyasatakam are very popular among the scripts written by him. His samadhi Mandir and idol is very beautiful.”
