The staff is enthusiastic and you can tell they want to be there, working with the kids. Sleeping accommodations are very rustic and spartan so don't expect anything fancy. The facilities for all the sports, however, are state-of-the-art. The camp also has other offerings and other campuses. Their website will have all the information.”

We rented the seal and it was the perfect addition for our morning. Our son is six and he enjoyed it all so much. My spouse and I really like the lights they put during skating time. “Posting 2/17/2023 2:41p.m. I attempted to take my 9 year old daughter to this place. They have a metal detector inside for safety. This was fine with me, until I tried to go through it... The first time a beep, I'm asked to remove my belt. Go through again, beep. I'm asked to remove my coat and boots. By now I'm getting frustrated, but that's not the end. I walk through again and beep. Now I'm being ask by a 17 year old kid to remove more articles of clothing and that's the only way I can come in. I then said no and asked for a manager. Her response was shocking, she states plainly that this is policy. I reply with, it's your policy to have people strip in front of family and children. I was then asked not so nicely to leave. I note that 1 other patron saw and heard this and expressed dissatisfaction over it as well. My question now is, how many other people/children have been asked to remove there clothing? This felt more like a TSA strip down then a family friendly environment. I will never return and I will never recommend this place to good people. You'll be asked to do uncomfortable things.”

I have been there several times for league hockey games and nothing was available. They had vending machines for ice cream, cotton candy and more, but nothing for a hot drink.”

“As a casual skater that goes here basically every weekend I definitely recommend going - Weekends are most busy. - Weekdays are usually more quiet. - Entry prices are reasonable - No you don’t have to pay if you don’t plan/want to skate - Clean environment most the times (if the customers are clean enough 😅) - And overall a good vibe. Tips to avoid injury - Ensure you are skating in a counter clockwise motion at all times on the floor - Watch out for people when deciding to enter/exit the floor - When tumbling over, please get up asap or someone WILL trip on you - Don’t bring drinks/food on the floor, makes it hazardous for everyone - Carrying your child on the floor will most likely end in someone bumping into you causing you & your child to fall down, so if you want to have fun with you children just hold their hands while you skate with them 👍 - Don’t sit on the walls or stand in one spot, there will be times where someone is going too fast to stop, staying in motion gives you a better chance of not being ran over ! 😅 Finally the only other thing I will say is to make sure you are watching out for children and less experienced skaters roaming the rinks floor incorrectly, they can be a hassle to get around sometimes 👍 Enjoy your visit to Cordova’s Local rink 😁”

“This place is one of the best roller skating joints around. They have the walkers in different sizes for kids and adults. I bought in a big group for my daughters birthday as I did not plan ahead and couldn't rent a room in time. However they were very accommodating and even reserved some tables for us after acknowledgement of our unexpected big group. It was a Sunday so not very busy. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. It does get busy on Saturday nights and special days like half off or events. The way the skate floor is set up is very helpful for beginners as they have a sit down area on both sides of the oval shaped skating area. My daughter and I always have a good time when we go, no complains except maybe if you're renting blades or skates there have been times when they don't tighten as well and even come loose. They are great at getting new ones for you.”
