“I saw Kristen in 2020 during covid for a highlight and lowlight. Overall I was very happy with how light she was able to highlight my hair, however the lowlights were very “Jennifer Aniston 90s chunky” despite my asking for them not to be-so I politely messaged her after and asked her if she could please break them up a little. I didn’t ask for a refund, and I tipped her well for her time to correct what I wasn’t thrilled with. (I was having to style my hair to hide the lowlights). Well, I called to make an appt to see her again as my hair has grown out and needed some TLC. I just lost my father from a long battle of cancer and so I was looking forward to finally having her highlight my hair again and getting “refreshed”. I called on Tuesday and was surprised they were able to get me in to see Kristen Thursday. However today I received a call that Kristen didn’t want to do my hair because Kristen was quote “concerned based off the last experience” and said she wasn’t the hair stylist for me!! LMFAO. WOW 😮 If you can’t handle a little constructive criticism then I will take my business elsewhere. Kristen needs to get off her high horse -it’s extremely distasteful that my appt was canceled over the fact I asked her to please break up a couple very thick lowlights over 2 years ago? Seriously? I’ll include photos below. I paid over $400 in total and was willing to give her another try, but that’s fine, I didn’t want to be in the snooty stuck up atmosphere that is Anushka anyways. Everyone there treats you like you are beneath them- Such bad business. Kristen is a big baby and lost a great customer. Take your money somewhere else where they actually care about you as a person! The first photo with my masks were my natural hair grown out before our first hair appt. I had to wear my hair up to hide the large thick stripes so that’s why I asked for them to be broken up a bit. But to not be wanted as a client simply because I was honest and needed them broken up a bit is absurd and childish. I think it says a lot about the stylist and the salon. Their are multiple owners here, and a person to mix color, wash hair, blow dry and cut, it’s all a la carte. If you want to be the best, you have to be willing to take constructive criticism. They did offer for me to see someone else but I’m good. I’ll go establish with someone more talented and happily spend over $400-500 somewhere else. All over two low lights that needed to be broken up! SMH 🤦‍♀️! 😂 😂 ✌🏻”

My manicure was TERRIBLE (see photo attached). My nails were cut SO short and my cuticles were untouched. Hard to believe but they looked worse leaving than when I came in. “Be CAREFUL where you walk. Very dangerous protruding corner where you need to walk to the nail drying machines. I was told by salon personnel that several patrons had fallen. I was bruised on my entire left side. Lucky I didn't break a hip. I suggested to owner that she put a plant or something on the corner involved in order to prevent more falls. I checked back 2 weeks later and the trip hazard was still exposed. Very disappointed. In picture look for the protrusion by the number 12 in the date of Dec. 14, 2019 at 12:31 PM The owner replied to this post that I should tell her but I did tell her and gave her suggestion to place something over the protrusion but when I checked back 2 weeks later nothing was fixed. It seems the date did not show up on my photo and the bottom of picture not clear but that is where the problem exists. I am just trying to warn others to be very careful in this salon.”

“I've visited this salon a number of times when i lived in Miramar and even made the trip from Miami Lakes recently but the last couple of times I've been its not been good. Went for acrylics just before Christmas and the guy who done my nails made a real mess of them. I had red polish on my nails when I arrived and he just applied gel over the red at my cuticles even after I asked for it to be removed so now I look like I'm bleeding from cuticles. Nails are bulky, wide and uneven and after I reached out to the salon to complain they completely ignored my message and the pictures I had sent. Had to go to another nail tech to fix my nails so it turned into $150+ for one set of Christmas nails. Won't be back there are much better nail salons in the area.”
