“Found The Cat & The Fiddle in Lindsay for the first time and what a treat! Lovely cozy British pub atmosphere. Wooden chairs were small and a bit uncomfortable for my tall husband but he was ok for the time we were there. Reservations probably would have been helpful. Service was fast and friendly no complaints there. Food arrived within a predicable time. I had the Roast Beef Yorkie, swapped out the mushrooms for fried onions (they could have been a bit more caramelized but that was my doing). Huge portion of nicely mashed potatoes under a mound of thinly sliced roast beef all in a huge yorkie and smothered in thick hot gravy. Portion size was way to large for me so shared half with my husband. He ordered the Scottish Meat pie which was very well seasoned with a good pastry crust and covered in the same thick hot gravy. He also had fries with his which were well done. He couldn't help himself and had to order the Apple Brown Betty with a scoop of ice cream. I asked for two spoons. It was absolutely delicious. Some crispy edges, warm tasty apples and a crumbly topping. Ice cream was super creamy too. Overall a delicious meal and we will be back next time in Lindsay. Thanks!”

“I love going to Tutti Frutti for breakfast with my husband and sometimes our kids come too. We always request to sit in Deanna's section when we see her there. She's awesome! Very kind, friendly, attentive and has a great memory. She knows our orders by heart (4 people). She always seems calm, even when it's very busy during the breakfast rush. I would like to note a couple of food related opportunities for improvement. Some of the meals include fruit. Despite the photos of the fruit on the menu showing strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, the owner (or manager) doesn't include them with the meal unless you pay extra because berries are expensive. I find this frustrating since I love fruit with my breakfast, especially berries. Also, every once in a while, the melons are not ripe, they're hard and tasteless. A couple of times they have tasted sour, like they're going bad. The owner (or manager) is very friendly but also loud. He often shouts across the restaurant at customers arriving and tells them where to sit. I find this incredibly rude and disrespectful to them and those already enjoying their breakfast. The shouting affects the atmosphere. I promise, I'm not a "Karen". I rarely complain about anything. These are minor but I feel they should be mentioned. My husband (and kids) love any breakfast, as long as it includes eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. I hope I haven't turned whomever is reading this away. We love this place and eat there most Saturday mornings. It's the highlight of my day.”
